This is the first Field Report that I've written in the forum. I approached a few girls before, but never reported it on here.
So anyway, I was in college earlier, looking for girls to talk to. Tutoring for the specific class that I was going to didn't start for another few minutes, and I had no classes today, so I had some time to kill. I passed up a few opportunities to talk to a few girls. Including before I got to campus.
So as I was walking, I saw a white girl with long black hair, wearing matching black clothing. She was walking the opposite way from me, so I turned around and walked towards her.
I touch her arm lightly with making eye contact beforehand, and said hi to her. She asked me how I was doing. I said I was good and asked her that same question. I introduced myself, and she told her name was Lulu. I asked her where she was going, she said she was going to advisement for psychology. She asked me where I was going, and told her what I said above about tutoring.
I asked if she was a psych major, and she said yes. We talked about psychology for a bit. She tells me that she wants to become a forensics expert dor the police force, and I told her that when I took Psych 100, I got bored of it when the professor started talking about the science behind the mind, but got interested again when the professor got to Freud. She asks me what my major is, and I tell her English. She said that she wanted to be an English teacher before she got into Psychology.
We got inbetween where she was going and where I was going, but I had a few more minutes to kill, so we walk to where she's going. I ask her what year she's in, and she says she's a senior. She asked me that same question, and I say sophomore. She asks me another question, probably about my age, not sure. I did what Chase suggests in that article about asking out women at the high point, and used that as the opportunity to ask her out for a cup of coffee. She replied that her boyfriend wouldn't like that.
I tell her that I'm not trying to take his place. She knows, but her boyfriend is the jealous type. I asked her if she was the jealous type, and she said no. She gave me a hug, and we went to our respective destinations.
I constantly keep getting these types of results. Either girls lose interest before I ask them out, they tell me that they have boyfriends, or if I do ask them out, we never go on a date. I can tell that she likes me, but I couldn't do anything. So how do I get over this hurdle?
