I've been watching the show Mad Men, into the third season, and have been fascinated with the differences in culture and the traits of characters on the show compared to characters in shows set in modern day. They are all much more dominant, masculine, go-getters- even the less successful characters. This made me think of Chase's points on the decline of masculinity and testosterone in the men of the west in the past 50 years. Does anyone watch the show or have any thoughts on this? It really jumped out at me. Don Draper is also amazing, and I would love to hear peoples' thoughts on his game. I feel like something can really be learned from watching the men on the show- attitudes, nonverbals, etc. and feel as if they all are much manlier than many men nowadays. I find very few dominant, masculine men like those on the show in my day to day life.
