Chilling in a bar, just enjoying the vibe.
3 girls walk in and one looks at me and decides to sit close to me, while her friends are abit away. they still chatting on high energy from just coming in.
i wait and listen to the music...start to feel the AA come up but just push through and deliver a social opener, question about what she thinks of the music. we chat abit about her night, and general bar chat. i get her name and start to try find out more about her.
her 2 friends are currently in there own convo, still close by.
a random interjects their convo and brings up something, to which my girl turns to their convo.
she listens then turns to fill me in..the guy was offering some weed..and my girl was keen.
he stays in convo with them and my girl gives him attention, filling me in every so often.
i start getting bored and she then asks me to sit directly opposite her so i can join there convo. i go with it and hear they are indeed talking about weed.
shortly after the guy leaves somewhere and my girl introduces me to her friends. i make some chit chat, then crack a joke by doing a cold read on them: i say on is a good girl, the other is sorta good and put my girl as the baddest of the group. they laugh and don't even reject it.
i continue to talk to her, mostly light teasing her about her nails, that she's hiding. she shows me her ear piercing and we talk about that.
i tell to come with me to another part of the bar...and she initially rejects but i mention its not far away and she accepts.
this is where i think i FU badly: after moving her, i don't try to build a better connection, or even screen her...i asked her about how good she is at choosing movies tho and decide to use this later when trying to pull.
mu girl then needs a lighter, i don't have one (lessons learnt: keep one on you). she decides to ask around and i hear another guy tries to get her to join him outside.
she declines and instead goes back to her friends. she comes back to sit again and the guy tries to join us.
i break circle (headslap) when the guy tries to get us to leave with him to buy cigarettes. we both say no and just continue chatting.
i then bring up the movie thing and suggest we go watch a movie at my place...she mentions her friends and they won't be too happy.
i say maybe she should ask them if they all gonna heading home together.
she seems abit quiet like she lost interest. her friend then comes to join us bringing the lighter and asks about our convo topic...
not sure if this was right; but i bring up the pull to see the friends reaction...she says its cool for her to go as long as she lets them know.
i use that to try and convince her but she doesn't seem too interested. i suggest a number exchange and she mentions to give it to her friends cause she doesn't have a phone...
i lost interest at this point and decide to talk to some other people. she joins her friends again. FU
i know i messed up because she was definitely interested in the beginning.
so far ive got: lack of enough connection, pulling too early and breaking circle as the biggest errors.
