There I was, prowling around the winding down Berlin conference, looking for some last minute deals, determined to squeeze the last bit of juice out of the event.
A guy walks past me.
He seems like a known face. But in an uncommon way.
You know there are times where you know you know someone, but just can't remember the name.
But not this time, this time it was a distinctly different sensation: it was a known face, yes, but I also knew I didn't know him. I kept thinking about it for a little while and then it suddenly dawned on me: "he, he looked like Chase Amante!". No way it could be him though, this guy's beard is longish, and a bit more on the red side of the color spectrum. And what are the chances after all? So I kept walking a few meters pushing that thought away until another thought crept up: but.. What if he was??
Then I remembered about Chase's pendant. That guy had a pendant too!
Damn, it could really be! And Chase has a website, and everyone's here looking for traffic.
Dating traffic is one of the most popular too. Could GC classify as "dating"? Not sure, but now I had to find out.
I needed to catch up with him though. But that was the easy part lol. Remember Chase saying he walks slow? Well, if this guy I'm chasing it's him here's another hint: very slow walk, check

I get to his side in the middle of the street and quickly ask if he was attending the conference, my conference badge hanging in full sight from my neck which also helped minimize the "creep effect".
He was, and he was from the US... And as I'm getting more and more excited I utter the final question: May I ask your name ?
And BOOOOM!

Particularly noteworthy were seeing in real life Chase's slow spreading smile and hearing his slow speaking voice tempo.
