So I met her, sat next to her for ~4 hours or so (I watched a movie and she did work and we intermittently chatted and got on well. I didn't try any proper kino etc etc as we were going to be on the train for a few hours and sat next to each other so I didn't want to make it awkward for her. She was gorgeous and obviously very intelligent.
How should I ask her out?
I got her number (she would rather have traded facebooks but I didn't have signal) and sent her a 'hey this is blahblah hope you got to X ok... - save my number'
No reply (not really a message that needs one though)
That was friday night.
Now monday.
Would a message like
'Hey, HB9. Hope you had a great weekend in X! I'm back at uni now (we're at the same uni)
I hope your housemates survived saturday
(She said she was getting a bit pissed off with them, and said that on saturday they were planning on making the living room a shroom den basically (she didn't approve)) Let's grab a drink sometime, I'd love to get to know you better.'

Would something like that be good?
How could I potentially say something funny/witty about her housemates and the shrooms?
She seems like a great person and I'd love to have her as just a friend if there was no mutual attraction.
She is what most people would consider 'out of my league' but I don't believe in any of that bollocks so I want to try anyway.
