Met girl at cosplay convention, how to proceed?

So there's a convention hosted by anime club at my college where there's panels, contests, cosplay, and other nerdy stuff. I'm hanging with some of my friends, who are also cosplaying, and another friend I haven't met before joins us. She's an attractive senior black girl doing a cosplay with a long white jacket, tight leggings, and the jacket is opened where she's wearing just a black bra with complex straps lacing over one another. I smile at her and talk to her for a little bit, commenting on other cosplays that we see. All of us walk around for a while, chatting and joking around, (my friend put on a virgin-killing sweater on top of his male cosplay, which got him a lot of photo ops), and she's making comments about how her costume gives her so much underboob which I agree but tell her it's appealing. Eventually, we're all starting to get tired and start to split ways. I tell everyone that I'm going to walk back to my dorm and she offers to drive there. I happily accept since my feet ache and we head towards where her car is. Except her car turns out to be further away from my dorm than it would have been if I just walked. I figure she actually just wanted to talk to me privately for a while. We talk more about how long she's been cosplaying, the amount of conventions she's been to, with some sexual overtones due to her mentioning wanting to do the more "revealing" characters. We talk about how she cosplays because she wants to keep trying new things since she was stagnant for most of high school and mentioned she wants to join the cosplay club (which I'm a part of). So she drops me off at my dorm and I say I'd like to meet her again so she says she'll probably go to the next club meeting. So I'm pretty sure she's into me due to the long detour towards the car but I'm not sure how to move this forward. I'll probably see her at the next meeting. Did I mess up by not inviting her into my dorm? I'm pretty sure that wasn't viable at the moment due to our costumes and just being exhausted by noise, heat, and costumes. So any feedback or general tips?

In the crowded convention you never brought her close to speak in her ear?
When she drove you to your dorm you didn't hug her as a thanks?
