Friday night I took my children to a Beer Garden for dinner. There was a band playing and we were dining outside. I looked over by the band and thought I recognized a dark haired lady sitting at a table there next to where I saw one of my clients dancing with his wife. I ambled over and leaned over to shake his hand and I was feeling ornery so I tapped her ontop the head from behind.
Well she turned to look at me and to my surprise it was NOT the Latina who owned the hair salon near my office. I apologized and explained I thought she was someone else, she replied that she indeed WAS a hair dresser. I was feeling about 2 inches tall so I tried to maintain my composure and went back to my table. I mingled around through the tables a few more time and talked to other people I knew at the venue. Our dinner was brought out and my kids and I ate, and I got to talking with three women at the other end of my table. Turned out I knew one of them, and was well acquainted with her family. Her friends were giving me the "eyes" but they were over my weight limit.
After dinner and a couple of beers, my kids and I got up to leave, when the woman I'd mistakenly tapped got up and came over and addressed me directly. My kids sighed and went and sat on a bench...
HD: So are you a barber?
Me: No I'm not
HD: oh I was gonna ask you to teach me how to do a fade
Me: well if I was, and I knew, I would take as long as needed to show you.
HD: So what DO you do?
Me: Fluff Talk about my career near by, and the band and who she was here with
HD: So who are you here with?
Me: I point to my kidswith my daughters here tell her their ages
HD: my boys are 7 and 11

Me: well if I learn how to do a fade, I'm gonna need your number (I had to see where this would go even though I had no intention of following up on it)
HD: Or for something else as she punches her number into my phone
HD: Hope to hear from you soon..
LESSON:
This came truly from an abundance mindset. I had my kids with me so there was no way I was taking a woman home or going home with one. Also I was about 10 days away from my LTR coming to spend 2 months with me....AAAANNNNDDDD, I have had 3 different single women texting me this week wanting to meet up.
I had no intention of meeting women this night, but I made contact and didn't push her and actually disengaged from her...She re engaged when she saw I was about to leave. Who knows if she REALLY thought I was a barber. My appearance was not the best. I had not shaved or showered in a couple days, and I was feeling a little funky. She got close enough I could smell her scent, so she might have caught a whiff of me. Lately I have had a number of women hugging me when I am sweaty....Pheromone effect?
