Movie Recommendation: "Ali"

Hey guys,

Movie recommendation here. Watch "Ali" with Will Smith, the bio of boxing great Muhammed Ali.

I expected it to be a film about the sport of boxing, and it is, however it details his seductions of several women in the process, as well as his inter-relations with all of these women. Whether the movie depicts real life happenings or not is to be questioned, but the many upon many highlights of his dealings with various women is very educational.

Highly recommend this movie, as it details a lot of the cumbersome learning points and curves that men will go through with women.

So it's not a movie where the guy's a pussy and falls head over heels for "the one" and in chasing her for just long enough, he gets to net her and live happily ever after? Lol

Have read Muhammad Ali's bio on wikipedia before and have heard my mom tell stories of him and how he did have many women in his life and stuff. My parents grew up in a Muslim country, and were kids around the time Ali was in his prime.

They've told me stories about how they'd gather round the radio to listen to his fights, and how my grandpa would wake up in the middle of the night to pray for him so that he'd win his fights. Lol

I think I've actually gotten largely away from watching many movies lately just because beforehand I expect the romantic plot to be so stupidly cliche. In addition there are many films where you think won't have a romantic plot like this, and you think you're gonna watch an action movie, or something else not romantic; and then they go ahead and throw in this overused plot of a girl being introduced to the plot, and the protagonist getting turned into a giant, bumbling pussy all of a sudden. Because of this, i think the few films I've seen in the last year have been those that are sophisticated and copmlex and not following a common outline of movie (e.g. action movie outline, superhero movie outline, romantic comedy outline etc.), such as some Chris NOlan films and some other films of this nature.

Will be nice to watch something knowing beforehand knowing that it doesn't have that bullshit in it

Haha yeah the romantic comedies I used to love so much and empathize with the man are now mostly, well... just comedies to be now. I really don't see the "romantic" part in RomCom's anymore.

This movie was great, and of the many scenes relating to seduction there were a couple that really stood out to me:

1. Near the beginning of the movie, you get to see the young Ali fall madly in love with a bunny cocktail waitress after he seduces her. Another big thing here in this scene is you will see that you can pretty much say anything to a woman while your dick is inside of her. In fact, if you want to lock a woman down and make her fall in love with you, the best time to communicate with her in a way that will do this for you is while you are fucking her, due to the high levels of oxytocin. Really great scene.

2. There are a couple of scenes where he is having an argument with one of his lovers which really depict how a man should handle drama from his woman.

Anyway, not to ruin the rest of the movie for you haha, but, pretty much, you just get to see how an extremely high value male interacts with women. Lots of really great stuff.
