Hello GC Fam

So I have a very brief question that I'm sure is not as confusing as it is to me. But how do you moved a hired gun to test for compliance/to see if she's into you or just flirty because, you know, she's a bartender. I ask because last night when I went out she stared me down pretty hard as I walked in and I looked back and when I sat down I talked with her a little bit but I couldn't really deep dive while she was behind the counter. How would I move a girl like that? Or should I be moving her in the first place? I've only really approached a few girls, one I was lucky and became my gf. With the others I haven't been getting blown out but I always forget what to do next or hot a roadblock. Thanks for the help.

Bartenders are hard, like strippers some are professional flirts.

Tell her "come here I want to show you something." Investment/moving her at the same time from your part. Show her a cool city pic, say you been there before, you're going to this cool lounge next week... join me. Hit or miss now. She'll accept/decline.

I assume you're cool with her. AKA deep dived her, fundamentals, body language, the works?

I think sometimes, unless the female bartender is really "putting it out there", that they can be more useful as an ally. Let's say you have this bar that has a good population of attractive women. The Bartender is going to be an astute judge of character and motivations of the regulars. If your interactions with her are one of a genuine friendship, based on mutual respect, and good tips, she is going to work on your behalf to make you look good and have a good time. Call it Pre-selection if you want...Cause when you walk in the door, and the bartender walks past someone to give you a hug or a high five people are going to notice.

Now it is different when you are at a new bar say traveling for business, or whatever. I had an interesting experience when I rolled into this dive bar, early, before it got busy, and chatted up the bartender. She was telling stories about Burning Man, to the other bartenders coming on shift. So I chimed in with some comments about the Art installations (that I'd gleaned from friends who were there the year before) and she hooked hard. (Then asked me if I was a cop. I get that a lot.) Her shift was over but she came and sat next to me at the bar and we BS'ed and she did a lot of talking, including talking about how she was pissed off at her live in boyfriend. Pretty soon she asked me to walk her to her car down the street.

Now I didn't make a move at this point mainly because she didn't turn me on physically...but the point is, most female bartenders are gregarious, outgoing people who don't play games. They get hit on by all manner of people and don't suffer fools. If she takes time to have a private conversation and you can ask about a good place to grab a bite after closing time, the way she responds will indicate if she is in to you. If she gives good, straightforward directions to the Denny's at the Freeway exit, or asks one of her colleagues to give you directions, Sorry. Thanks for playing.

But if she says she likes to ...."grab a burrito at the taco truck on her way home" or something along that line....you better respond with "well you better show me this place..."

Chances are on a busy night she is going to be too tired and just want to go to bed to sleep. But an early night, mid week....Eh you got a chance, if she is feeling horny....

I'm not experienced in picking up bartenders. I tend to shy away from hired guns for the very reason you're trying to get compliance. But common sense would dictate that you can't really move her because she's working. She doesn't have time to talk to you all night (also a reason why hired guns are a bad idea...their attention is split). In any case, I feel like the best move with a bartender or the like would be to just grab her number. But again...unless you have a thing for bartenders, I would avoid trying to pick them up altogether.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
