Naturally improve eyesight! Anyone heard of this?

Since this is a self-improvement related forum, i thought i'll share something i found a few years ago, but i'm still quite unsure whether to actually try it out. So, i wanted to know what the rational people on GC forums thought about this

The majority of optometrists on sites like Youtube and Yahoo answers when asked about the subject are incredibly hostile about this technique, saying it's just a waste of time or may even harm your eyes even more. So i'm not sure what's going on really.

i improve my eyesight. I did it on my own, by relaxing my eyes and see the trees for a close to a year. (scientific support on trees) when i was young. My eye degree went from 330 to 150.
