Neal wasn't a bad guy, but Franco and I had each warned him, and he only seemed to be getting worse. I know a lot of you guys had been asking for him to go for a while. We still tried to give him a chance.

But he just had a post where he advised a new member, after that member's first post asking for help getting past oral sex, to forget about trying to sleep with the girl and just masturbate instead. Also asking (in jest?) that new member to post the nudes this girl had sent him.

Then the next day he had a post with pictures of some chubby Mexican gang chick he sent a bunch of things to on Facebook and got blocked by. Which was just... I had to delete it.

Neil didn't seem to understand why the stuff he was doing or saying was beyond the pale. I have sympathy for him. But when it gets to the point where you tell a guy he's got to rein the behavior in, and he still can't change that behavior, and he's doing things that alienate new members and make the whole community look really bad to anyone who happens to come by, he's got to go.

This guy gives out advice that is either counterproductive to this site's mission, or are flat out useless and cannot be used in the field. And on more than one occasion,
he has done stupid things that would've given this site some bad press in the mainstream media.

I had a few substantial conversations with the guy... tried to use logic and reason to show him where his philosophies were badly flawed. He'd respond with increasingly bizarre excuses, to the point of redefining words.

One time I had a quick look at a site he runs that was easily traced back from a link he posted... where he was trying to convince women to ditch religion. Well, I have to agree organized religion is probably a sham, but uncalibrated doesn't even BEGIN to describe trying to convince a girl of that as an outlet for being sexually attracted to her. Seems to have some serious hang-ups about women and sex.

Once upon a time I was... well, not quite as bad as him, but pretty bad. So I felt pretty bad for him, but he was about as impossible to help as I was back then.

So yeah I'll second Franco on that. He was dead serious!
