So I have a date with a lady I've been out with once before. We were intimate last time I saw her a few weeks ago (she slept at my place).
We both work in the city about 40 minutes away from the area where we live, and I want to go to this gig that's in the city about another 15 minutes away from the area where we both work. We don't work at the same place, but a couple of blocks away from each other. So, home is a good hour away from where this gig is going to be happening that will go late.
I would rather get a hotel in the city, and just go directly there after work (she gets off work a couple of hours before me) where we can get ready, kick back a little, get some food nearby, go to and fro the gig via taxi, and have a place where we can crash out and not worry about having a few drinks. Getting a hotel would make things much more enjoyable all the way around.
She is Filipina and has the 'Delikadesa' thing going on where she used the 'Sure I'll come to your place, but nothing is going to happen, okay? card...', then proceeded to jump all over me sexually last time we were together.
I don't want to put her into rejection mode, so is it too forward for me to tell her I plan to get a hotel and that I'll leave her a key at the front desk so she can go there directly after work and not have to worry about going all the way back home that day?
