I had a pretty awesome day today. Pounded out some awesome code at work, got a raise at work, then wrote a paper. When I got home, I was feeling pretty great, but a little tired. I hadn't really talked to girls all that much since a tinder girl went cold on me last week. I kinda had my hopes up on her, which I told myself was dumb, and she just stopped logging on. The I sorta got a small crush on a bartender and was planning on going out and chatting her up for happy hr.

Since it was a pretty long day, I had the feeling that I probably looked like a hot mess. I also recall all of the nights I went out after working long hours at my old job and pretty much didn't say a word the whole night. Given that, I asked my roommate if I looked busted or like a zombie. She agreed that I looked pretty busted and that I should stay in. I texted a couple of girls that live out of town and they each seemed pretty interested in hanging out this weekend. Then I texted a local girl that I'd been on 2 dates with and that had turned her head both times I went in for a kiss.

I recalled a line from these boards that was credited to Anatman, "Wanna come watch some netflix?" So I texted those words to her and she said she would be over in a couple hours. I've been kinda busy, so I haven't gone out with this girl in a couple weeks. After my roommate left for work, I went in for the kiss, yet a third time. Each of these times that I had gone in for the kiss all seemed pretty appropriate and in line with successful kissed I have done in the past. She turned her head again this time and then had a little talk with me...

She said that she gets this vibe from me and that I seem like I'm the kind of guy that hooks up with lots of girls. I told her, with a smile, that was the nicest complement anyone has ever given me. She also said I never give her strait answers to anything. When she asked me why I never text her, I told her i'm busy and that she is free to text me if she wants to talk. I didn't get defensive about any of it, it actually made me feel pretty good.

Long story short, talked all night and made out some. She is really cute, easy to talk to, and pretty fun to be around. I told her I would take her to an Indian restaurant in town this weekend and a party after.

I'm going to see where it goes, in terms of dating her. I'm in a pretty good place right now with work and school and all, so I will spread some of the holiday cheer if things go that way. Thanks for all the good advise on GC, its really changed my attitude and helped me to appreciate women more.

Just a follow up on this one. The real date at the Indian restaurant went well. I remembered why I have been avoiding real dates for so long, they are expensive! After dinner, we had about an hour or 2 before the party started, so I suggested we go play some pool. I wasn't really going all out, I have been trying this one shot where you barely tap a ball next to a side pocket and have it just fall in. I don't even know if that shot is possible, but it made for some nice laugh and nobody got humiliated. After that, we met some of my friends at a bar and hung out for a while before heading to the party.

A side note, I have been making an effort to do a lot more touching and I think it has been pretty successful. I have never really liked holding hands much, but I've been making myself go strait for it when walking with a girl. I think its really helped me stay out of the friend zone on my last few encounters.

When we got to the party, we were a bit late. I was expecting lots of girls to be there, but like most parties, there were maybe 7 dudes to 1 girl. This ended up being a somewhat crappy situation b/c I only knew 1 person there, my roommate and her friends didn't go. So it turns out, she knew a few people there, then we ended up being swarmed by dudes. Everyone at the party was about 20-22, I'm 29. That being said, I felt a little out of my element. This one hipster dude in our little group was going on and on about how humans are trying to create robots in their own imperfect image. And hes going on an on about this to my date. He goes on about that movie "Her" and all kinds of crap. The one time I interjected about something, he went on a condescending tangent to me explaining stuff I already understand. He qualified himself as and expert b/c he is in his 2nd semester of Computer Science. I kept my mouth shut that coding is what I do for a living. I almost wanted to ask him how a computer would differentiate "pulled" the verb and "pulled" in "pulled pork.", but I really didn't feel like it. So I put out a few consecutive yawns and then grabbed our coats.

On the way out, I saw that hipster do get my date's number. I made a mental note and pretended I didn't notice.

After we left, she puts her arm through mine and we walk to my truck. I ask if she wants to go to her place or mine. She says mine b/c I can play movies and stuff from my computer to the TV. On the drive home, I remember that I still have the movie "Her" on my computer, so I turn that on lol. She rants about most of the stuff in the movie. Then theres this sorta awkward phone sex type scene and she laughs at that. She said it almost feels like we just watched a porn.

So on that cue, I roll her over and start making out. I put my hand down her tights pretty early. Tights make hands in pants very difficult, but then she pretty much just starts ripping her clothes off. Then she rips mine off too. She was pretty sexy. It seemed like she came quite a few times, she even begged me to cum, which I was not able to :\.

I wasn't super thrilled when the dude got her number, but I kept my mouth shut about it. Arguing on the way home didn't seem like it would achieve anything at all. Plus, I have gotten plenty of numbers that turned into nothing at all. All in all, it paid off to just ignore it. She even said something, in the morning, about how that dude would be pretty annoying to be around. I just kinda laugh and said, "yeah, probably so" and then went on with whatever we were talking about.
