First post here on the field report boards. I began the newbie assignment today. I honestly was a bit nervous about starting this whole stuff but I'd made a promise to myself, and I couldn't break it. Day 1 of newbie assignment was to go scout areas with high traffic of women plus convenient to me. I decided to look up bars in my area old school style (by walking around with no direction in particular 
I have only been to bars a few times, with a date a while ago ( bad logistics), I think I wasn't checked because I was with a lady, and with my friends to our campus bar. I probably should have researched on campus bars near me, but I was like fuck it, lemme see if I could slip into one of these cool bars. This is a bit of a summary. The bars I saw were quite empty or filled with guys hanging out. Well, I expected that, given my living area, plus it's a Tuesday night. I saw a decent bar with good traffic for a Tuesday night, was filled with anxiety, but I manned up and entered. Made it to the bar which had a a cute asian probably waiting to be seduced by a sexy man but Shiit, I couldn't even buy a drink talkless of scouting the area because I didn't have an ID. The downside of being underage. I couldn't enter some other cool bars as well because of the same problem. Well at least I tried. After an unsuccessful scouting, I wanted to go home, but I couldn't let the night end that way. I decided to cold approach only three girls, and that was it. Plus this was a chance to improve on my opening and approaching.
There were many beautiful girls on the street, sitting on benches or just chilling or walking. In fact the traffic on the streets was better than what I saw in the few bars I looked up. Approach anxiety came over me and I couldn't approach any girl. I decided to warm. I sat on one of the street benches next to a pretty Indian girl locked on her phone screen.
Me: [turning over and tapping her shoulder] Hey, do you know any cool bars around here?
Her: [looks at me, a bit annoyed] umm, there's one by the corner of the street. It's the only one I know of. [she turns back to her phone immediately and continues whatever]
Me: Ok then, thanks. [stand up and leave to begin hunting]. Had already been to the bar, it was empty, literally.
I go on and approach 3 girls and they all blow me out, either they have a boyfriend or just can't grab a coffee or had to go. I felt good though that I had achieved my goal of approaching three new girls. Feeling good, I decided to head home and there she was walking in front of me, a block away. A beautiful body [and ass], sexy walk nonchalantly on a nearly empty block! Suddenly my mind began to make excuses, maybe she's married, she'll reject you, the street is empty you might scare her off..blah blah. And then the crippling approach anxiety came upon me. I've noticed this pattern, it always starts with negative thoughts or thoughts about rejection and then I get scared as hell. I decided to shake off these negative thoughts, after all, I'm improving on myself and skill. A few times in the past, I've opened women in nearly empty streets, tapping them on their shoulder from behind, and I noticed they are almost always scared. I decided to open from the front. There was a bright street light in front of us, so I walk quickly past her, turned over and looked her, but she didn't even notice my existence over her phone and then at the front, I turned back, smile and stop her. Then fuck it, I went direct. She stopped, took out her earphones. She was gorgeous.
Me: I was passing by, and I saw you walking here, and I thought you were attractive, so I wanted to come say hi [froze up and waited for her reaction - not good]
Her: [smiling] oh hi, nice to meet you [was about to walk away]
Me: [coming to my senses] I'm the tycoon, what's your name?
Her: I'm *Emmy* - forgotten her name [we begin to walk]
Me: so what do you do?
Her: I'm a model. I work in Manhattan
Me: that explains the make up
Her:[smiles] Where are you from
Me: I'm from a country far away but I moved here recently to New York
Her: where's far away?
Me: where are you from?
Her: From Pennsylvania but moved to New York for school
We talked some more about other things until we reached her apartment building. I didn't know what to do. I proposed we just chill, but She wanted to go to the gym, then go to bed early for work. And she was a bit unsteady about me coming in. I proposed we go grab a bit sometime, and she asked for my number. My phone's not working but I gave my email [forgot to get hers]. I don't expect to hear back from her, but if i do that'll be a bonus.
Feeling elated from this encounter, I decided to linger a little longer on the street. And passing by Dunkin Donuts, I spotted a cute blonde milf lost in thought. Wanted to push myself just a lil further. My good old friend, approach anxiety creeped up on me again, but I decided to focus on the positive side of things. I forced myself to go inside, buy something, then I sat next to her. After sitting for a while,nervous, I decided to say Hi
Me: [tap her, smile] Hi, how's your day going?
Her: [somewhat disinterested] it's ok.
Me: I think you're very cute, I just had to say hi
Her: oh thanks, I've a boyfriend
Me: [after a while] you have a bit of an accent, where are you from?
Her: I'm from Albania, but I lived I grew up in Queens.
Me: [noticed she seemed down] You seem a bit down
Her: tells me some things about problems that she's facing and how she's working on fixing it.
Me: well, i can relate, I recently got laid off my job, I'm still busting my ass up, so I know how it must feel.
The conversation had a negative feel, something I try to stay away from. So I decided to change it up
Me: Let's not focus on negative things, how about you tell me about your hobbies. what you do during your free time
Her [smiling] I do a little acting, I draw and sing sometimes. And you?
Me: I do arts as well- the basics , drawing and painting. Are you good at drawing?
Her: Not that good, but I'm trying
Me: that's a cool ring, do you mind if I take a look? [gives me hand] what does it mean? [first touch]
Her: something my grandma wore and blah blah, shares a story. Later on
Me: If you could travel anywhere in the world? where would you like to go
Her: the carribeans, somewhere exotic, maybe aruba.
Then she talks of my accent, and she says it's sexy and kinda exotic And how I dress is sexy and my smile. Honestly, I was very flattered, since I'm not so used to receiving a lot of compliments like these. I guess it paid to improve on my fundamentals. I still have a long way to go though. I compliment her on her eyes, and how's it's pretty and blue. Touched her on her back. I think she hooked. The convo was flowing so well. She began telling me about her childhood, I decided to move her closer to me, told her I couldn't hear her well and she should move closer, to which she complied easily. We talk some more, talk about sex and how she enjoys the chase. I brought out my sketchbook and I moved her again this time, very close to me. Then I tell her to draw something, and she draws a woman. I asked her her favorite male body part and she says it's the chest. It shows how a man carries himself. She said, she likes it puffed out, and a good posture. My mind went back to the body fundamentals that Chase emphasizes on. By this time, my hand was running all over her thighs. I wanted to move her outside where it's dark and serene, but she resisted. Tried to pull her out of there about 5 times, but she still resisted. She later told me her boyfriend was next door at the gym, plus she knew some people around here. She talked of how she's respectful and values privacy, to which I concur that I value privacy as well. I proposed we hangout on Friday, to which she agrees and gives me her email and phone number. She left to the gym where her boyfriend was, still smiling at me. And I sat there surprised yet beaming with pride.
I did a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong ( I find it hard to pinpoint the wrong ones) over the course of today's encounters, but overall, I feel proud for taking actions. I still have to go lock down those locations though.
