FR Nice guy or butthurt?

Not sure if you read my previous post, but there's this one girl whose been giving me hella mixed signals...

Her guy friend comes up to me and tells me that I should move on.

I asked him "Just wondering, did she tell you to say that? And did she tell you why?"

him "I sometimes like your courage dude, but listen to me man, you just have to let it go this time"

me "I get ya... I already stopped talking to her. Just wondering what was her reason? I'm guessing she's taken?"

"The reason don't matter no more, time to move on, this is all I can tell you now."

Is he actually looking out for me? Or is he mad that she talks to me? Ik they friends but I've never seen them hold hands or anything...

You gotta have the balls to talk to the girl yourself. It would be different if he was your buddy and had your interest in mind.

"Hey Batgirl, Robin tells me I need to back off. What's up?"

She will probably hem and haw and not want to hurt your feelings. You can't put her on the spot either. You do have to finesse it but still make her express how she feels about you. It will probably her trying to let you down easy. "I like you as a friend" "I'm not ready to get in a relationship" etc.

The key is not to be upset or butthurt if she says to you " hey I'm not interested in you , and I don't like the way you look at me or make me feel."

Your only and last response is "ok . thanks for being straight with me." and then don't initiate anything with her again. Yopu can be pleasant and polite, and say hello. But don't initiate anything.

In the off chance the guy is trying to run off his competition... (10%)
There is an opposite strategy Jesse Dayton sings about, but it is a pretty advanced , high risk reward type thing. I don't recommend it, but it is legend.
