I now have a routine of doing cold approach at night on campus from around 8 to 10:30 but yesterday I started a bit earlier, by 7. The reasons why I stopped doing it in the day time is because the sun is really hot around here and I've got to alternate between pick up and classes. Nights are just the perfect time when everyone is more relaxed and all. I'd still love to do proper day time cold approach and I'm working on how to make it work. Here's my FR for last night pick up.
First Approach
I see this cute girl walking my direction, I make sure I look away so she notices me first as passes me. I get distracted by staring at another girl. I later turn around and it takes me a while to catch up with her. While close to her, I slow down and get into her line of vision, using my peripherals I observed that she looked at me. That's called preopening, and it's possible even on street pick up. I then say "hello, this might seem a bit random but I saw you walking and I thought you were really cute so I decided to come and say hi... And get to introduce myself". She's totally into it and smiles. We exchange names and handclasps. I ask her about her day and she says it's fine. And I say it's obvious as she was walking and singing. About 3 minutes later, we're in front of her hostel. I tell her I'd love us to hang out sometime and she says cool. (I've learnt to structure all my meet ups as hang out because dates in this present environment of mine kicks you automatically into the bf zone and can be sometimes weird if you structure your next meet up as a date only for you to get a drink and sit around sch when she was expecting you'd take her outside sch and all.) I'm not with my phone so I ask to dial my number on hers and it turns out she's not with it. I get my pen, find a paper in my wallet, lead her to a more comfy place and then write her number down. We're texting presently. The only mistake I made was not to set up a meet up time while I was with her.
Second Approach
While still walking around looking for who to approach, I see this short girl with a fat ass who just ends her convo with some guy and is walking on a quiet path. I try out the preopening again. I walk close to her, make sure she observes me and then use the same line. She's receptive and we start talking. She's a talker and so she blabs about her department being the best and all. After talking for about a minute I ask her that we should hang out sometime. She declines with an excuse and as she keeps on talking I thread-cut and continue deepdiving. We are getting close to a park and she tells me she wants to wait there for someone. I say I have a few minutes to spare and we can talk a bit before the person she's expecting comes. We sit and talk some more, then I tell her that I have to get going but I'd love us meet up sometime and get to know each other better. She pauses for a moment and tells me she's trying to think if she'll be free. She then says yes. I should have confirmed when she'd be free at this point, silly me. As I bring out my pen and paper, the guy she's supposed to meet comes up and it's awkward for him as he stands. She introduces him as her course mate (ouch) and the guy is clearly not happy that I'm getting her number. The place was not well lit up so I ask for her phone, and then dial my number. I then bid her goodbye.
Third Approach: The Embarrassing One
I approach this girl wearing a sexy gown with "Hello, this might seem a bit random but I saw walking and you had a really nice dress on so I decided to come and say hi, and maybe get to introduce myself". We exchange names and talk a little bit before she receives a call. She excuses herself and picks up the damn phone to have a conversation that almost didn't end. After walking with her for 10 minutes, she ends the call and apologises. I then make a huge mistake by telling her to remind me her name. She's upset and says she won't tell me as it shows I'm not interested in her and she remembers mine (oops). I try to salvage it by using self deprecating humour that she should pardon my bad memory. This is where her dissing began. She says so I have a very bad memory, then how am I in sch. I smile, and then try to thread cut by talking about her course, French. I ask her to say something in French, she does and she tries to say I hope you can remember but before she does I repeat the statement she said in French. She then goes "oh, and I thought we had to format your memory" (it's a common Nigerian diss). I should have ended the conversation here but since she was in my faculty, and might be offering one of my courses, I didn't want it to be awkward when we meet again. So I continue talking and ended up following her like a confused being. Long story short, I fucked up! I shouldn't have mentioned forgetting her name. I shouldn't have allowed her insults (although she said them in a way that sounded like she was half joking and half teasing) without giving her some witty replies.
Fourth Approach
While walking back to my hostel, I sight this cute girl with big ass and breasts walking behind me. I intentionally slow down. She catches up after a while and i approach. I used the same openers I used with the first two girls. We then get into conversation and she's really enjoying my company. After walking for a while, I tell her I'd love us to meet up some other time. She says something about leaving our next meeting to fate. I try convincing her in a neutral tone how silly it is. She doesn't bite, so I change subject and continue deep diving. Turns out she's an architecture students. And I love architecture girls coz they've got the artistic side without the promiscuity and junky lifestyle that is usually a part of artistic girls. I'm into art so I love it. After deep diving for a while, I ask that we meet again and she says the same bullshit. I give up.
