nuisance of social circle game

This post is just my opinion of social circle game, but feel free to chime in and tell me what u guys think about it as well.

I just came back from a class party. There were about 15 new international students that just came into our class, and two of which seem to be very popular among guys in our class. (well, the qualities of girls in our class aren't that high to begin with, so I don't see what the fuss is about. girls like that are on the street all the time lol )
These international students are VERY shy. I already know everyone in our class except these international students, so I decided to at least open a few and at worst I'll make new friends.
I've only talked to one of the cute girls for 5 mins during class when we happen to sit next to each other.

Several interesting observations from the party :
1. a lot of guys would hang around those two cute girls. Whenever I was in a conversation with a girl, people would try to cut in the conversation so many times and it was frustrating. The worst thing is they would stay and join the conversation.
2. The girls get A LOT of attention. and that made me wondered if I was just another one of those guys (the orbiters/guy friends) trying to hit on them at the party. I hope not. At least I don't need alcohol induced courage to do this.
3. When I was hanging out with my buddies, the guys would mock anyone who tried to talk to cute girls (they probably were talking behind me as well lol but I didn't care)
4. Good social status = good preselection obviously.
5. Saw a guy attempting to pull a girl who was shy on to the dance floor in front of everyone, putting social pressure on both him and the girl. It ended awkwardly. The girl DID followed him to the dance floor, but he just DITCHED her cuz he couldn't stand the social pressure he created for himself. lol poor girl.
6. It was hard for me to isolate a girl and sneak out, because everyone knows everyone at the party. someone's gonna notice. don't want any rumors.
7. lots of guys trying to impress and entertain. It gets them good reactions, but the conversation usually went dry afterwards.
8. girls at parties are colder than they usually are, and are afraid to express themselves and scared of being judged.

After being cockblocked for like 3 times with 3 different girls, I finally managed to isolate a girl outside, but she is pretty inexperienced and nervous.
I think I'm not gonna make any moves on the girls in my social circle, unless I can be VERY subtle about it. There's simply way too much bs and competing orbiters hanging around. I got no time for that.

This motivates me even more to meet girls during the day, where you don't have to worry about your social status or orbiters, because you already stand out from 99% of the men out there.

But yes, these are the reasons why I've become more and more frustrated of social circle gaming and had just about enough of it. And to think it has been about the only type of gaming I've been doing until now.
No wonder I've become frustrated of all it, and has at times started to even question myself as an attractive man.

It's basically like playing hard-mode, while I'm simply a beginner, intermediate at best. Although I'm not saying that night game or day game are any easier, but they can make at least a difference.

Having another source of meeting women can give you a breather when it comes to dealing with women in your social circle At least you won't feel the need to chase them, although it's very tempting for most guys.

Yes operating outside any social hierarchy feels like true freedom!

In this social circle, yes, I do give a fuck about what others gonna think because these people are gonna be in my class for the next few years until I graduate whether I like it or not. so why make life harder for me? But I give more of a fuck about the girl than those people, so I didn't let it stop me taking action, which was what most guys (my buddies included) didn't do at the party.

But you're right that most guys AND girls cared too much about what others think, especially in a social circle, so that's why I prefer meeting women outside it. Although I can understand women's need to protect their reputation, so can't blame them for being careful.

that is why I don't approach girls that are in my social circle or are fixtures (like my neighbors) in my life - it always gets too complicated and messy!
