(SLIGHTLY LONG--but ANY comments are much appreciated and anyone who reads all of this I will be very thankful. )
Okay.. So I haven't been putting in as much effort into picking up girls as I would like too... I make up excuses like I don't have time and I go to a mostly guy school (small technical school) and I live in a small town with not much to do and I am only 20 so I can't go out to public places where people drink alcohol..
Now onto the point..
So I've shared classes with this cute asian girl (she's not extremely cute but compared to the 2 or 3 other girls in my classes she's pretty cute) but we never really talked much. Well about a month ago we ran into each other out of class and I just finished talking to one of her friends, while at the gym, about her (friend nominated asian for ASL Ice bucket challenge) So I figured I'd bring that up. Well we talked for a couple of minutes than I had to head home so I just said I gotta guy and she said bye in a way that seemed as though she was being attractive (high pitched, sightly sad I had to go?).
She begins to show some interest everytime I run into her (says "hey you." kinda seductively I guess) and I wanted to ask her out as soon as possible but I never really got around to it. A friend of mine also said she seemed interested in class... He urged me to ask her out..
So a couple of days ago I ran into her again and it went something like this..
On campus walking, and I see her walking towards me and we are about to cross paths.
She sees me and smiles, I smile back and we come up and start talking.
Me: hey *her name*
Her: hey its you
Me: its me!
Her: *mumbles* see you
Her: are you done with classses?
Me: what was that?(directed towards the '*mumbles* see you')
Her: are you done with classes?
Me: yeah I am about to head to work though
Her: at...(looks in her papers)
Me: Alidyne.(saw her at a career fair at our school, showed her my companies kiosk)
(i have the side of my body directed at her, but looking at her directly. her body faces me)
Her: I got rid of all my resumes! (*we were at a career fair earlier at our school*)
Me: haha nice
Her: yeah this one guy didnt want mine because I was an international but I made him take it anyways
Me: yeah I didnt take your resume either (*she tried to give me one of hers*)
Her: is your job easier than the coursework?
Me: well its different because I dont really have set in stone deadlines, and they assign me what they know i can handle
Her: well dont you have tasks you have to finish?
Me: well yeah but its just less stressful because I only work there I dont have to do it at home and make sure I finish it
Her: and its close right?
Me: yeah like 5 minutes that way *points*
Her: by car though..right.
Me: yeah lol do you not have a car?
Her: no..i have to walk everywhere, ive been downtown though and to target
Her: takes about 2 hours to get to target and 30 minutes to get downtoad
Me: damn that sucks having a car is nice
Me: where do you live?
Her: on campus over there.
Her: have you finished the homework?
Me: no not yet
Her: me neither...
Her: *she notices my nametag in my hand from career fair*
Me: *motions for her to take it* want it?
Her: *she takes it, looks at it for a second, tries to hand it back*
Her: no because you didnt take mine (resume)
Me: well its all yours now i dont want it
Her: *she drops it*
Me: (theres a security gaurd right behind us) hey shes littering! *directed at security guard*
Her: yeah you have to write me up now for littering! hahah
*security guard just laughs*
*very short pause in conversation..*
Me: what are you doing this weekend?
Her: nothing..
Me: we should do something
Her: sure
Me: go downtown, smoke some hookah?
Her: sure
Me: have you ever smoked hookah?
Her: yeah ive been downtown before
Me: whats your number? *takes out phone*
Her: just facebook me(already friends on facebook) my phone usually doesnt work anyways
Me: do you have a local phonenumber? *puts phone away*
Her: yeah I have local everything, I keep getting mail asying I have to pay tax but Im international I dont have to pay tax)
Me: thats weird I live here and I never get mailed to pay my taxes
Her: that is very weird..
Me: alright well I gotta get going to work, ill talk to you later *lifts hand up to wave bye*
Her: *waves bye* goodluck at work!
Me: thanks haha
*walks away*
not exact as you could probably expect but close enough, got the major things in there and a bunch of useless information.
I am a little worried about this situation though because of how long we've known of eachother and the seeming of having plenty of time to decide.. and maybe awkwardness if things don't work out? Well that conversation was on Wednesday so today I messaged her on facebook and it went like this:
Me: Hey (name) hookah bar tomorrow evening?
Her: Hey what's up, who are we chillin with tmrw? (I didn't like this message..)
Me: I didn't invite anyone else; I was planning on just chilling with you.
Her: mmm alright. I can't stay too late though.
Her: Got too much homework too do. (Teacher name)'s project and Ronaldhino's lab
Me: Yeah same here
Her: Yeah Ronaldhinos lab is a pain
Me: His name is Ronaldo lol
Her: Yeah but Ronaldo means little Ronaldo, & he reminds me of Ronaldinho Gaucho as well, you know, the very famous soccer player a few years back?
Me:Yeah I can see that.. neither of them are little though.. lol. Does 7 tm sound good?
Her: yeah sounds good
So I read the "Cute girls in class? Stop Flirting and START DATING" article and it pretty much went against this whole situation, which was kind of disappointing.. But oh well.. I actually feel good because I've never actually asked a girl out, they've always kind of just hopped in my lap.. (Only 4 lays).. so no real experience. So even though the article doesn't bring much hope I'm just going to go with it and have some fun. She seems like a really cool, kinda goofy girl. So we'll see what happens.
Thank you if you read all of this.. Any advice or comments would be great!
