Hey everyone, it's Alex here!

So, I've been exploring social circle for a bit, but have run into some interesting problems. Currently I'm in a high school environment, and have actually been doing moderately well in comparison to where I was before finding this site. However, I've been encountering issues that are stopping me from gaining even more experience. Mainly being approaching, opening, and interacting with girls here, both old and new.

It's very much encouraged to just go up to a new girl and say "hi", but I just feel like this would be awkward and weird. I still think I should probably try it to find out anyways, but I'd like to get some tips on doing the task. Say for example, there was this girl in my class that I'd never interacted with, but would like to talk to, how would I go about that? Mostly I've been avoiding cold approach here since I heard that it can be damaging to your reputation, which I'm fairly sure is absolutely vital in high school.

Beyond that, I'd also like to know how to talk to girls I'm acquaintances with! Sometimes there will be girls that I've met before or know of, but have had a short, boring interaction with, or have never really spoken to. Again, it seems sort of strange and out of the blue to just walk up and try to start a conversation, a little bit too much like chasing. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'd love if one of you folks who've done this before have any advice.

Thanks in advance!
-Alex
