Opening Waitresses/Staff

Hey All,

I was at a bar in my neighborhood recently, and noticed that the waitresses are definitely the best looking women there. I usually avoid opening/hitting girls working at the bar/club/etc., but a buddy swears by it claiming its a great way to get free drinks and meet the staff. Maybe I should change this... any advice on opening waitresses or bartenders? An approach that works best?

Let them see you talking to other girls. This girls must enjoy spending time with you (a blow out would be bad, of course). Do not pay them attention. Try to befriend the guys of the staff little by little. Treat every girl in the staff, hot or not, the same. Make them get attracted to you doing this.

I think is the best way. They will be open to meet you.

Thanks diegoC and not to knock your advice but this seems very elaborate and too much work just to talk to a girl, especially considering how Chase sticks to sprezzatura. What I was referring to is how direct one should be when talking with a girl who's at work. I just feel that approaching her with "I saw you standing over her and had to tell you that you are...." seems a little too forward for someone who is one the job but at the same time just a situational opener which I've used before doesn't necessarily get the message across. Does anyone else have an opinion on this? Thanks.
