Hey guys! So let's start off by explaining the background leading up to my main predicament. Let's begin.
Recently, a girl I knew (distantly through aqaintinces) broke up with her boyfriend. Acting quick, I got her phone number and used it for the sole purpose of setting up a date. It looked like this was going well, but due to scheduling errors on her part, we canceled. Which didn't bother me in the least. I simply said we would do it another time. Well, after keeping cool, I was sitting beside her In class, when I noticed she wasn't as flirty as usual. The interesting part was she knew I knew. Fearing she was losing interest, I played it cool, but didn't press while the mood wasn't right. Instead, I smirkingly blew her off. It made her nuts. What I later found out was that the Ex was trying to win her back. He tried using their emotional ties, but after a final dispute, they stopped talking to each other. Now here's what happened and what I am trying to figure out.
It seemed like a normal day in class and we began conversing. Then in the middle of the conversation, she told me she was done talking to her Ex. I just smirked a and continued flirting. The part I found most interesting is when she said something along the lines of "Yeah, I just broke up and now I have all these guys wanting to date me. I just don't know who to pick." I didn't even acknowledge this but continued my silent smirk, and I am still trying to figure out why she said these things. Can someone offer any detailed advice on what to do and what this meant? Thanks!

She was qualifying herself to you by saying how many guys are chasing her, trying to make you value her more. I'd have done something like this, viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3210.

That way she knows 1. that you aren't phased or impressed and 2. that she's chasing you, not the other way around

Thanks dude! I figured something like that may be the case, but I'm glad you clarified that.
