This Last Wednesday night my run group went to a Micro Brewery for dinner and drinks post run. We had run three and a half miles and I had basically wiped off the sweat, cooled down, and threw on a Tshirt and jeans with a quick application of underarm deodorant. While at the bar, I ordered beer for myself and two friends and found myself locked in eye contact with a woman in a sundress who had a to-go order. She had short hair and was maternally plump. It appeared she was picking up micro brews for a gathering at her house. I decided she was not worth introducing myself to.

As she gathered up her bags of brews to leave, she made eye contact with me and said "I have to say you are beautiful!". I smiled and thanked her. She smiled back and left. I almost wish I'd found out more about her. Made me think though. I received a very similar comment from a Friend of a friend on her Facebook page 7 months ago. The Friend of a friend was as my friend put it "a Bull Dyke Lesbian". I asked my friend, a female, whether I should be concerned about getting attention from Lesbians, and her response was "Nah...you are just Hot. Deal with it. LOL".

So for further analysis:

I was in the middle of all my friends at the crowded bar and I wasn't interested in her outside of an ego boost. Should I have introduced myself? Thinking back she could have a hot sister...

In your interactions with self proclaimed lesbians, do you find their opinions run parallel to heterosexual females?

I wonder how much of that attraction was due to other factors like
1) the post exercise endorphin buzz I was feeling
2) some manly musk I may have been giving off from my unshowered body
3) the inner confidence I was feeling from receiving a racy text just minutes before from another woman.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
