It depends.
Fashion is one of those things where you have a mix of objective and subjective parameters.
Objective: Your size, your weight, your skin and hair color, the colors that fit you...
Subjective: The people you meet, the place you are in, what is acceptable, what is deemed cool and uncool...
On the objective side, if you have a very fair skin and use saturated colors, you’re gonna look like crap. There’s no way around it.
If you copy an outfit from someone with a different complexion, skin color, size, etc... you’ll need to adapt to these variables.
On the subjective side, everything that you wear has a context... you have to be aware of how some colors, clothes, accessories are perceived by the people that you want to notice you.
You may think that a bow tie makes you look fashionable and you may have seen guys using it but then you go to a wedding in a small town and everybody thinks you’re gay.
The bottom line is:
Does this makes me look in-group or out-group? and how much in-group or out-group I want to look like?
So in summary, yes you can use other guys styles.
But you need to adapt it to your body, your colors AND your context.
