Hey everybody,

I was watching a 21 Convention video on Youtube. Essentially it's a gathering of PUAs who are speaking at seminars, and I watched one by this guy Dharam...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjA-tj_d4bo

It's an hour long... but there's a point (at around 7 minutes) where he talks about owning up to how you feel.

If you're nervous tell her, if you draw a blank tell her... if you wanted to talk to her because you thought she could be your next girlfriend tell her...

How do you guys feel about this?

Yes, and it's even more powerful if your body language is saying the opposite, that you are confident and self-assured. But this can only happen if you've done enough approaches to develop that vibe.

Being a little self-effacing with your words whilst your nonverbals display dominance is a very powerful tool in the arsenal. In the article How to Be Smooth with Girls Every Time, Chase links to a video of Val Kilmer in the movie The Saint: a scene in a church crypt in Oxford where Kilmer says he's "not good with people" after giving the opposite impression in the way he speaks with the young girl, played by Elizabeth Shue.
