One time I was walking around my college campus with a friend of mine. I was started changing my style at that time--I was dressing well, got a good haircut and I had my sunglasses on. One thing I noticed though, is that people (especially men) started talking shit about me and trying to bring me down without me doing anything. I heard one person say, "wow, that guy thinks he's so cool." I'm not an arrogant person; I'm very introverted and I don't like to judge others. I haven't done anything to these strangers, so why do these people try to bring me down? Another thing I noticed, however, was that girls were looking at me way more.
Anyway, has this happened to you guys too? Am I doing something wrong or should I just continue what I'm doing? I want to change my style but this criticism is bringing me down.

Keep doing what you're doing. These guys may be talking shit but you said so yourself, women started looking at you a lot more. That means you're getting the results you want right? What the guys say don't matter. People often have to tear others down in order to build themselves up, especially when they see someone who they perceive as being above them in some way. Best I can say is if you're seeing progress with women, assuming that's the goal since you're here after all, then keep at it and brush off everyone else. If you do eventually the results will speak for themselves.

No one wants you to change in this world (most I should say). Our world needs losers because without them there would be no winners. You get to choose which one you actually are and when you choose to improve your life (become less of a loser) people are naturally going to try and put you back in your place.

Don't worry about criticism you should actually be welcoming it because that means you're doing something right! Idk about Chase but some of the best PU legends in the community all got mocked, tooled, and made fun of when they first started out their journey and it's just a funny memory to them now.

Keep on doing what your doing and meeting women and see their reactions to your new style.

Hope that helped dude!

Bro I've been called gay and told that I look like a pimp since starting to wear jewellery daily and it's all good as noted above. Just one tip though -- read the article on elite eye contact and follow it -- go easy on the sunnies unless there is a genuine reason to wear them, this will make it easier to establish strong eye contact after pre opener etc.

It is very normal... when I improved my dressing a bit when I was in my third year in University some guys that knew me when in my first year were making fun of me behind my back too... it is very normal, some people want you to be a loser forever and they cant handle it when you are improving yourself... ignore them and keeping improving your fundamentals!

PS: It is the ladies that you should be concerned about... and not strange guys!
