Hey Gents!
I have another FR+ out, but tonight's events are more demanding for moving forward, questions at the bottom! I met this girl while running Postmates deliveries at a restaurant she worked at, she's 5', huge chest, heart shaped butt, and pretty face. When I asked for her to meet up and for her number, she rebuffed saying she doesn't know me, and I replied that's why I want to meet up, and she gave in.
Texting didn't go anywhere at first, and I pinged her this week and planned for tonight. When she arrived, she was wearing a nice black outfit with 4" boots (still super short next to my 5'7 lol). I mentioned not being hungry and tried to angle for Starbucks, but we ended up at the pizza place we met at. The conversation went nicely, I definitely feel the accumulation from dates and applying GC material. i worked to dive a bit deeper than usual conversation and held strong eye contact, while being playful occasionally. She asked me where I was from and I made her guess my half (1/4 Scottish, 1/4 English, 1/2 Egyptian), and she kept getting it wrong and wanting me to tell her, then I eventually changed the subject and she brought it back up later. I told her she could look at her phone, and after she started, I had her move by me, and she resisted a little, but I told her we can look at the map together and held the silence, so she came over. She eventually got it and I kind of had my arm around the back of the seat, but I definitely wasn't strong enough about it. She moved back after, saying she wanted to face me (which seemed to be pretty true), so I continued with attempting to look seductive, which she seemed to like.
Eventually she asked me how old I was and I told her to guess, which she whined about needing to guess this too (she liked it
), then I asked her how old she was (29) and asked her to guess mine, she said 24, and I said 25 (21 ;D). There was a little bit a of loss here, but things continued and eventually we paid and I said to split it (but I picked up the tip), which she seemed to not like too much, but didn't object. At some point I asked about her jewelry and she showed me a gold bracelet and I took her arm and looked at it, and noticed her tattoo (a rose, but apparently it was done wrong). Occasionally something would come up for me to take her hand and I lingered a bit (even though mine were cold, she'd kind of grab mine to like warm it up). I had asked about her logistics at some point (she has her own room and bathroom, and lives with a couple), but I still don't have much experience inviting myself over in person. I suggested we could look around the furniture stores around us, which she thought was silly. Eventually she was starting to tear her napkin and I stared at it and mentioned how she's attacking it, while I play-pulled it away and she pulled it back. At this point I knew it was time to go, we headed out to our cars (my idea was to hang out in one of them and just escalate there), and we bantered about how we each had a crash. I tried to put my arm around her at one point because she was really cold, and she didn't pull away, but didn't get sucked in like girls usually do, and I let go after a couple seconds. (*should I have just owned it and held it?*)
At my car, she mentioned she wanted to grab the TV from Best Buy she bought online earlier that day (Black Friday), and I was totally on board, saying I could help her get it and we could go to her place and hang out some more. I drove her to her car and we went to Best Buy.
From being bubbly and tearing her napkin, to the abyss. Screw errands during a date......
In the In-store pickup line, she started fading fast, I tried diving some things, but I didn't hold things as engagingly as before, and of course she responded as such. I imagine she was at least a little wet before, but by now, it was a sandy desert because of the damn line, then we got up and they didn't have her TV, which WRECKED her mood. I eventually wandered around (she tried saying I could go, like go home, but I cut her off to say I'd wander for a little *Should I have just gone home?*), and finally she texted me saying she was outside. I met her and she was positive, but even more resistant to me putting my arm around her, even though she was still really cold. We went to my car and I drove her to hers and was asked her what her address was and I could meet her at home so we could keep hanging out, which she rebuffed and said she wanted to go to another Best Buy to get her TV, I pushed back saying she could do that tomorrow, I'm here now, but she didn't budge. She walked off without any real bye, so I got out of the car and she said she was just angry, but not at me, so we hugged and she got in her car. I decided to do a hard push and walked over to her car and said I could go with her and help her with stuff. She rebuffed with not wanting to have to come back, and I had actually sat in the passenger seat, but she was still not budging. No hard "no's", but not budging, so I touched her on the shoulder for a moment and said goodnight and got out of the car. When she drove past, I was still walking to my car, and she didn't even look at me, so that hard push was definitely too much (or not enough...)
If you guys feel this is at all salvageable, tips would be very welcome, we didn't kiss, so it's not so much a failed escalation, as a derailment and rebuff break, which certainly doesn't sound too cheery. I would love to pound her tiny self, but after this, I don't know if I'll even get a response back. Let me know how you guys would reach out to a girl in a situation like this (what/when), and anything to change about the date.
