Hello there, this is my first post, but I've been around for a few years. I haven't had as much practice as I would have liked, but I have practiced at every opportunity I got. In any case, I still consider myself a beginner.
Now, on to the subject of phone numbers. Normally this is simple enough, but I haven't been in this one before.
Ran into this girl at the dentists office, she's the receptionist. Dentist wasn't there so I waited about half an hour, which I spent chatting with her. I didn't want to dive to deep though, just wanted to see if I like her enough. Sometime around that the power went off and my old priest showed up (?). After that I just went to sit down until the dentist finally came, due to the power we had to postpone our appointments. I spoke to her again briefly, after which I asked her out to dinner and after that her phone number. Now here's the thing, she said that she didn't know it. Now I don't know it that's true or not, but she asked me for mine and that she will sms me the number when she got airtime (Everyone uses a free instant messenger on their phones, but my phone can't use it).
Anyhow, my new appointment is on Monday, the original was on Thursday. Today (Saturday) was the first day I though she would send a message if she intended to do so at all (I'm skeptical). Unfortunately I misplaced my phone and I don't know whether she did or didn't. But for the sake of this question let us assume that she didn't.
What do those of you who have more experience than I do think that I should do in this situation? (Excluding just leaving it, I want to see how to solve this one). First of all, I am aware of a few of my mistakes, asking her just before leaving being just one of them. If see anything else I would appreciate your advice.
