Picking up sex industry workers at the end of their shifts

Have you ever had experience focusing on sex industry workers, especially at the end of their (night) shifts?

WHAT QUALIFIES
I don't mean just full on prostitutes, also bartenders, masseuses and the "supporting"staff, but anyway all of them have to be dealing with hordes of (paying) men all the times to be included here.

MY LIMITED EXPERIENCE
I have tried a couple of nights at the verge of a famous red light district in the last 10 days I think, went achingly close (including girl coming the day after in the afternoon with a friend to see me and should meet again) a couple times but.. No cigar (so far .

Not a huge experience here, so I don't wanna jump the gun saying on average it seems more difficult.
Responsiveness seems to be on average higher, either because they are not scared, because they look for another customer or because they are really interested at the beginning, but it seems harder to then persuade them in doing something (they're tired for the night to go for a drink, they're often with a colleague and the day after they might have some paying customer chasing them).

ANGLE
So far I haven't gone very sexually explicit, like proposing the hotel right away, just innuendos and very clear "I'm not gonna meet you at the bar".

Anyone here has had experience with this kind of target in these kind of scenarios?

I find with these it's good to differentiate yourself from the clientele fairly early on. You don't want to overdo it and keep playing the same chord again and again like you're checking to make sure they got it; usually just once is enough.

Like:

• You: Are you working right now?
  
  Her: Girl's got to make a living.
  
  You: Right on, right on. Well, if you're still here after your shift and want to grab a drink, we should get one.

I'll joke around with them if they have fun/joke-y personalities; e.g., a conversation with a "retired" working girl (she was 20 years old and "retired" - actually, she'd just graduated to pimping other girls at the bar) went like this:

• Me: Are you working tonight?
  
  Her: I'm retired. I manage that girl over there [points]
  
  Me: [nod] Why'd you get out - too many horror stories?
  
  Her: Oh God! [laughs] You do NOT want to know!
  
  Me: Brittle old men with wrinkly penises and zany fetishes?
  
  Her: [laughs] Please! Don't make me think about it!

That girl came back to me after she'd helped the girl she managed secure a client and get a taxi back to his hotel, and we went back to mine on a non-customer basis.

Something I've seen on multiple occasions: if you drop the ball or botch the escalation, the girl may start asking you to pay. Sometimes you can override this if you can recover and get her back in the mood, but if she gets out of the mood it switches from "I want this" to "I guess I'll still let him do this, but he has to pay me first". Adds an interesting angle to things and makes the game a little more "dangerous", in a way. (best method I've seen for combatting this is, assuming you have her sufficiently excited, if she starts asking for pay you just whisper "No, no, no..." in her ear and continue escalating on her passionately. Most of these girls got in this line of work for a reason - they like sex. For many of them it doesn't even have to be good sex, they're just orgasmic freaks)

If you meet them on the street, it's a mixed bag; if they're dressed up and working and you're street gaming, I don't have much experience getting this to work. I've only had it work with girls who were really into me from square one. On the other hand, working girls taking a break somewhere can be picked up like regular girls; you just take them through a regular seduction, and so long as they're playing along there's a certain degree of chance they won't ask for money (some of them still will). I prefer to avoid these myself because I don't like the surprise "gotchas" that pop up where you messed up somewhere along the line but she stuck it out and humored you because she decided she'd just ask you for pay 30 minutes later when you got her to the room. But it's there if you want to try it.
