Been thinking about this lately, and after reading the articles here on the subject, plus a couple forum threads, I can't tell what the best thing to do is for this situation.
Let's say it's a girl you've been on a date with and the last time you spoke you generally agreed on the next date which is 7-10 days away. Or maybe it's a busy girl and it's on her to let you know when she has some free time coming up, maybe she works 3 jobs or 2 jobs and a kid, something like that. Or maybe it's even a girl that's seemingly been into you for a while, but you two have such different schedules, they just haven't been able to align yet.
In cases like this, if the girl isn't the one reaching out to you to follow up, what's the better approach - Ping her after some reasonable amount of time to be persistent, or to never text her and if she's interested, well then she'll have to be the one to reach out first?
