Problem with eye contact an appearing weak.

After a little(well, more than just-a-little) reading up I learned that eyes matter! A lot! But the thing is that maybe I'm taking it too damn seriously.

Here's the deal 1:

At school I notice many girls, now the problem is that however they do look at me, I refrain from making an eye contact with the not-so-good ones. It's just that I feel that if I return it to them, I'm gonna look kinda "easy' and I don't want that. I sometimes feel stupid about this but some opinions won't hurt.

Deal 2:
I also have a doubt on initiating these eye-contacts because I don't want to look needy and/OR weak. I don't exactly know it that's how it works though, but that's why we post in the forums, right?

Also, I have a problem with this "needy and/OR weak and/OR chasing" thing, I seem to assume that I'll appear to be in that position pretty easily and that also stops me from doing direct openers as well sometimes.
Is there like a "threshold" of like, giving up power or something?

I'd recommend to practice peropheral vision and only look at girls that look at you first, which sets them up in the chase. So instead of you thinking it makes you weak, think of it as," This girl is looking at me, she's interested, now I should return contact and maybe offer her a smile, just to qualify her efforts by lookin at me first. There ya go!
