Chase consistently emphasizes providing value in his articles, as something an aspiring lover of women must seek to do. Generally this takes the form of romance, great emotions, excitement, connection building, and sexual intrigue.

At the same time, one of the most frequently repeated messages in Chase's material concerns the appearance of effortlessness: specifically, maintaining sprezzatura and not over-investing before obtaining a clear expression of interest from the woman, deserving of reward.

How do the more experienced among you reconcile the two? I am erring on the side of remaining unperturbed and noncommittal, probably to compensate for past mistakes, but as a result I am really struggling to communicate the value I provide while exuding apparent effortlessness. It seems phenomenally difficult to strike the right balance!
