Very dreary day but I was determined to make some sort of progress regardless of the weather, i have been procrastinating my outings lately and need to get back into the groove I was in.
No major interactions and a lot of missed opportunities, I can't wait till I get sick and tired of being sick and tired of watching good opportunities float away due to laziness/A.A.
I did however approach in situations that I normally talk myself out of.
#1: Thick, sexy latina exiting the mall talking on the phone... I always talk myself out of girls on the phone but not this time, I followed her for a minute almost talked myself out then pre-opened, told her to put the phone down, and asked if she was single in which she was married and held up a ring. I congratulated her and bid her farewell.
#2: Young girl in cotton on... Personal note to self: Cotton on usually has cute girls in it. Another situation im usually hesitant about, girls shopping. Noticed her checking shirts out and cruised over, picked up a pair of short shorts and asked her if she thought the denim would go well with my eyes. My presence needed to be more masculine and warmer. She smiled but started shying away to look at some other rack and said something amusing and I decided not to chase her around the store.
#3: Mature sexy woman in the book store... I was in the personal growth section and she walked behind me to check some books out. I thought it was an approach invitation and right before opening some girl came right between us to look for a book. The girl I liked left the section to the next row over. I moseyed over and asked where the equestrian sports section was. She missed the humor and tried to direct me to the store clerk to find it for me, I politely declined and told her I was kidding and thought she was cute and wanted to say hi. She then held up a wedding ring and bidded me good luck in finding the equestrian sports section.
I learned I am capable of approaching in these situations that usually would have left me hesitating and I can now do them over again. Im missing out on quite a few great opportunities and still deny that I have mild A.A. and need to work as much as possible to trounce it for good. All the work I have put into the past six months is a good start but it is now time to quit making excuses and procrastinating. Im certain if I would have worked 2 or 3x's as hard I would have a girlfriend by now, its time to step it up to the next level.
To anyone reading this live like no one else so you can live like no one else.
