My guess is you were a natural with good looking women, something we strive here to be. But im guessing the psychology behind pick up opened ur eyes to whats out there and how things really run or the direction that it could go. The interaction between a man with very tight game and a woman who might be your g.f and him taking her home because u failed to keep her attracted to u. So i think u aim for lower caliber girls because u wont loose much if things do go ur way, ur in control because ut hink u know the why and how of game. Unfortunately, this is something u already learned and cannot erase this from ur mind.

I dont know what process u did back then but maybe u should retry it and see what happens with the women u meet along with the very useful advice from the site like body language, style, conversation. If u were sucessful with beautiful women back then "its" still there with them if u tap into what u did. Too much analysis is holding u back these days, if something is broke then dont fix it but if u can improve it

Maybe you naturally clicked with those particular girls, whereas pua teaches you how to attract and retain women in general. It also seems difficult at first when you're overanalyzing everything, like "oh, fuck I demonstrated too much interest or missed an escalation opportunity", but once it becomes intuitive you should have better results.
