I recently moved in a big city of central Europe.
As it's the first weekend in a room that it's not a hotel I went out without worries to explore a bit.
In the main square I saw a girl I liked and wanted to approach her... When someone ran after her and stopped her before I could.
He was very PUA-slimy style and badly dressed and took out his Ipad to get her phone number after a 2 minutes talk.
He then went back all smiles to his pal and comment.
"Wow, what a huge coincidence I thought" and I went after that girl as well as I was curious and also needed someone to share the coincidence with
.
But she didn't speak much English.
I lingered on in the square as there was some great music from some street artist.
I said hi to a girl I liked, and soon after two kids approach me calling me "hey bro", as of course I had to be "one of them".
They were two 17YO "pick up artists" spending their evenings in the square talking to "every girl that comes by" as one of them put it.
One didn't even go to school, they didn't do much with their time but just hang out there.
They told me indeed that the main square there and the close by streets are teeming with "PUAs".
It was quite shocking for me, I had never met anyone reading about PUAs, and now all of a sudden there it was a small army of guys making it hard for most cute girls to pass by without being pestered.
