Question:How do I capitalise on a good (or at least neutral) reputation?

Hi, I'm new here. I'm in a pretty unique situation being a fresher at a university in Ghana. That in itself is not unique but the fact that I'm born and bred and lived my whole life (until recently) in the UK gives me some kind of status. This despite the fact I look and have Ghanaian background like the average Ghanaian.
In my previous life, I suffered from mild social anxiety which sometimes got worse but I managed to be fairly popular so it wasn't too bad. Since Ghana, I've tried to reinvent myself a little by being more forward, bolder and openly interested in women. Thanks to GirlsChase I've had limited success. The faculty has about 130 students so I stand out easily. Here, some of the more confident girls seem intimidated my a calm, different 'foreigner'. Recently, I was waiting for a lecturer with another student.

Me:What's your name?
Her:Jane Bloggs
Me:Level 200 right?
Me:I'm...
Her:I know who you are. You're Kalle.
Me:...

Bearing in mind this girl is in a senior level, though I'm probably older, my question is this: How do you respond when girls you only know by face know your name. Do you play off your semi-reputation? Do you ignore it (act cool)? Help!

Tease her a bit.
"Have u been stalking me? ;)"

"what are u? a detective?"

If you see these people often, the 'foreigner' vibe will wear off eventually. So maybe u can use it to your advantage right now.
