Question on texting

Hey everyone,

I'm having some what of a dilemma when it comes to my texting game. Heres an example: this is me texting a girl I already bedded vs I haven't bedded

Me: hey, Sara how you been? I been good just busy working,
let me know how your schedule so we can catch
Up with some drinks

Her: reply will be that she is busy some day or I wouldn't get a reply at all.

Is there something wrong with my text?

Also I'm under the impression that I maybe chasing, I think Im confusing persistence with chasing. For example if I was to have a 1st date lay with a girl I'll text her later that eventing or tomorrow saying that I enjoyed her company and that we should do it again,

Then I'll text her later that week asking how she is doing, and if she has anything planned and then I'll try to set up a date. Although I wouldn't be able to follow through because the person either has plans or doesn't text me back

So my questions are
1. Is there something wrong with my texts?
2. Am I supose to follow up on girls for dates or do they follow up on me?
3. How long is the wait time before you try scheduling a second date?

2. You can either arrange the next meetup in person, or take the initiative a few days later to setup the next date.

3. Whatever feels right i'd say but it's important not to come across as desperate/needy or too available/easy to get. Once she thinks she "has" you, she may lose interest and give responses like "I don't know, will let you know" or "I'm busy"

Your post wasn't very clear here. Is this a girl you HAVE bedded, or is this a girl you haven't bedded? It makes a difference.

Of course! The difference is almost night and day. Keep in mind that sleeping with a girl is basically the ultimate turning point in her opinion of you as well as your entire interaction with her.

Well, I'm going to assume this is your example text to a girl that you haven't slept with yet and that you're trying to get on a date. You wouldn't ask a girl you've already slept with if "she wants to catch up with some drinks" unless it's a girl you slept with a long time ago and you managed to get in (warm) contact with her again. Then grabbing drinks again would make sense. But if you're already sleeping with a girl, asking her out for drinks is actually going "backwards" in her mind.

With that in mind, still assuming the text is for a first date, you need to break down your first text into two or three texts so that you can get initial investment from her first. Your first text is way too long and is asking for large investment from her before you've even gotten an initial response. So your first text should look like this:

Me: Hey Sara, how was your weekend?

And that's it. It's much easier for her to respond to a text like this and get a bit of investment from her. Once she responds, then you can build into asking her for drinks in the next text or two.

As for a girl you've already slept with, things should feel much more casual and less formalized than your sample text. You might text her a few days after you saw her the first time with something similar to, "Hey Sara, how's your week going? " and then when she responds, you can quickly move toward stating something like, "we should get together this week and cook dinner [and/or watch a movie at my place]! When are you free? "

Just keep in mind that girls you've already slept with aren't looking to "go out on dates" with you. At that point, it's about the physical intimacy, so just invite her over to your place (or go over to her's if that seems to be the better option for the both of you), maybe share a drink and/or dinner, and get down to business in the bedroom!
