I was walking down the sidewalk. I noticed this guy talking with a girl on the sidewalk to my left. I could tell something was up. He was standing way out of her personal space. They had definitely just met.
As I walk by, I heard this:
He said it like he was walking on eggshells. The girl did not seem too enthused - it appeared to me he was going to be getting rejected. This would have been an amazing opportunity to cockblock, but I decided to be nice and help. So I walked up to them. Perfect timing, the girl had not answered yet:
The girl and guy look at me, sort of startled.
After that, I walked away. As I'm walking away, I look behind me towards them. The guy turns around at the same time - we make eye contact and he's got a huge smile on his face. I point at him like "you da man" and continue on my way.
Felt good to help instead of cockblocking.
