Calls & Texts Really need an opinion on this texting exchange.

Hello everyone.

Well last night i had a pretty good run. Was going to a friends party in his house and ended up having 3 different approaches with girls, got 2 phone numbers and one apartment number.

Im gonna post the text I had today with the last girl which was the one I liked the most and the one I ended making up with, so she was the first I contacted.

We talked at the party a lot, we had a lot in common, after a while I took her to seat with me outside the place where everyone was and she was telling me some personal things while being very close until i managed to build up enough tension so she kissed me first. Then I took her to a couch were we kissed and touched and talked a lot of time (this was quite a long time but we were so comfortable and attuned I just couldn’t make it shorter). There was no sex because my logistics sucked, I couldn’t use my friends house for a number of reasons, her house wasn’t an option because she lives with her parents and was very cold and late to walk to my house and impossible to get a cab at that time in that neighbourhood. For all those reasons I didn’t insisted on the sex part.

So today I texted her about 6 p.m. and this is how it went.

Me: Hello X im r.a.d (used my real name ) I leave you my number. How is your Sunday going?

She: (two hours later so around 8 pm), Hey!, sorry for the delay answering, didn’t hear the cellphone. Had a very quite Sunday, actually with nothing to do jaja. How was your Sunday so far?

Me: No problem, my Sunday was fantastic, I got up early because I couldn’t sleep so I was cleaning the house and other exciting activities of the sort jaja

She: What time would be early?

Me: Well I ended up going to sleep at 8 and got up at 1030. Horrible.

She: Nooo, didn’t you take a nap afterwards?

Me: Yes but a short one because I don’t want to sleep late today or else nobody would wake me tomorrow. Anyway I was having some delicious mates (we drink that a lot here) If you would have seen the message earlier I would have invited you for a taste.

She: Don’t worry, im sure we will on another oportunity

Me: Of course, I leave you some nice kisses for my favourite hardware store attendant (she complimented my kisses the night before saying nobody kissed her like that) – My intention was to close the conversation with this last message -.

She: Do you know many hardware store girls

Me: I had the luck to meet the most beautiful first

She: (emoticon) you make me blushhhhhh. How did you told me yesterday your nickname was?

Me: Besides daddy, cute, divine and gorgeous? They also call me X (i joked with this the night before)

She: jajaj copy that

Me: Remember that you can use any of those jaja, well Im going to cook something because im so hungry that Im about to eat my cellphone or my guitar. Kisses

She: jaja Ok im gonna let them flow…... Have a nice meal!. Kisses.


My main concern, since i quite like this girl, is that i have a hard time knowing if im involving or investing too much too early. Also what would you think will be the best time frame to text her in order to arrange a second date with the hope of adding the sex part? text her 2 days later, 3 days, more?

Id be careful with a few things. Other people might have other opinions but from MY experience. Id say you were investing too.much, looking for reaction over results, and trying to.impress

Like the hey I barely got any sleep. Kind of calling for a reaction, dont do this. just generally getting off topic all together but you bring it back.

Do.you know a lot of hardware store girls. What you did isnt bad but it can be because your putting.her on a pedestal in my opinion, depending on her confidence levels and how beautiful she is. Cute I would of just put a and changed the subject back to her and meeting her up. If she is really hot I would have said millions and there all pretty.... so listen im going to have some beers tonight how about you join me tonight.

You text her to have conversation and.you did.good in the A's ct to let let her know that, you are interested but at the end, you still have no date set up with her. My advice would be to keep.it shorter and to the.point. you were on point with your flirting and joking around that keeps you from sounding robotic. All in all good start but find running needed.

mmm i see, well i value the advice a lot because i really have trouble being brief and efficient when texting, either i do what you say about overplaying and involving too much or im too distant.

Yes the in person interaction went well, she pointed a lot of things she liked about me, so as usual it compensates my current difficulties when texting but i really need to improve.

Try for the close depending.on how busy she is. If.its anything.other than an appointment or a family.emergency you can pull them over even for a few minutes I have had multiple girls come over before they went out eith friends. Including my quickest lay with a flight attendant who was leaving in two hours to san diego with her girlfriends she left with sex hair.

If she is really busy, which she most likely wouldnt be on a sunday night but you never know. Oh what does your schedule look like? Set up a date.

Shouldnt.have been really much more than that maybe a little.more small talk but save all this for in person

So we met at the party on saturday, on sunday was the above texting, then I let Monday went by, waited Tuesday and I texted her at 9 pm with the objective of setting up a date for wednesday afternoon.

Me: Hey x, how is it going?
Her: (two and a half hours later so the same response delay as the other time) Heyyy!!! How are you?!!
Her: As you can see I don?۪t pay much attention to my cellphone.

Me: Enjoy you can do that, I want to throw mine out of the window already

Her: You get bothered a lot?

Me: Yes and sometimes until very late! Luckily sometimes its worth it.

Her: jaja And in this case is it worth it?

Her: Were you sleeping did I wake you?
Her: Ok you have my full attention

Me: yes and metal roofs make it better (I could have developed the image of me and her in bed but thought wasn?۪t a good idea to do it through text since we already arranged to meet and I wanted to end the conversation at this point)

Her: I think they are a bit noisy

Me: Exactly, well my hardware store chocolate addict girl, ill go to get some rest now

Ok so i felt better about my texting, i know there is still some fat to be removed. While the texting was longer i think it was a bit more to the point but i would liked to make it even shorter but couldnt find a way.I tried to match her style of two or three short texts instead of a long one, dont know if this was actually a good or irrelevant idea but i thought it was better.

I know there is tons of room for improvement so let me know any opinions.

I think this was great. I got a little nervous like man she could take this the wrong way. She likes you though she said it.... That's am awesome sign. She also pretty much told you she wants to get talked hard, but asked what you had planned to fend off the Slut shaming and you handled it perfectly. Just sound a little more confident and led more. Instead of saying if I invited you over... just say so tomorrow let's get together. See the difference? It is also always good too throw in the we comments like we could be listening to this together. She said it was a bit busy you could have deep dived a little bit to find out if she likes those kinds of things or not, but all around great job lets hear the lay report! Keep is posted
