Today at the gym there was this girl that I see every week. Till today I've never paid much attention to her cause she always does an hour of cardio before her workout and she's always at the threadmill. Meaning I've only seen her back but I remember her clothes.
Today though I went a bit late and she was done with her cardio and doing leg exercises. I was doing shoulders and I took a look at her and boy is she cute. Tall dark hair long legs and sexy butt. We actually locked eyes and I gave her a sexy smile (executed perfectly, imo).
Then I noticed sth interesting. She was always near me and in my line of sight. I felt like she was staring at me when I wasn't looking and when I'd turn around she'd be looking 3-4 feet above my head - and there was nothing there
.
I noticed when she was done with her work out. And I was almost over and then she was like hovering 4-5 feet away from me and pretending to be distracted/confused.
I realize that this was a compilation of approach invitations and that me not doing anything might have sent her into auto-rejection. Cause I appear to be confident (I fake it very well, the way I'm calm and seem cool and move slow - I've been working on bodylanguage for a year every single day - I just have super HUGE approach anxiety(will be trying the newbie challenge in about a moth or so)).
So I figure, she felt like I rejected her cause I seem confident and noticed her checking me out and hovering near me, but didn't even say hi.
My question is the next time I see her, if I have the courage to approach, how do I recover? She is really cute and has a sexy body.
So how do I go if I approach her? I'm thinking I should say sht like "hi, I've seen you a bunch of times working out and I've been meaning to say hi, cause I think you're really cute, but I'm a bit shy... so hi, my name is..."
I think it's better to say it like that and aknowledge that I didn't approach her today, cause she knows is and she'll remember the next time she sees me. So I figure this way I can defuse the auto-rejection she might be in, by saying that I didn't approach cause I'm shy and not cause I don't like her and I've rejected her approach invitations.
Is this the correct way to deal with this or not?
Any other suggestions?
How would you handle this situation?
Cause I know I'll see her again. And I know she wanted me to approach her today. The only question is will I get the courage to actually approach her.
