Hey Ocantu,

We have a goal in mind youth! :) In case you haven't downloaded the e-book "Make Girl's Laugh ", get it here http://goo.gl/F492h0

P.s. This is the same book I posted before. If you already have it, I've already informed ya'll.

Apart from this book I spend time with funny people and listen carefully how they deliver a joke. Most of what makes a joke funny is how it is said and the body language used. Context and timing is also very important. Next thing, you don't need to be funny every time you walk into a room. Just use humor enough to lighten the mood.

YES, do watch those comedy shows when you can. They certainly help me and I hope it helps you. Remember humor is mankind's greatest blessing. Think like you are funny because it's the first step and the rest will flow in time.

Hey Ocantu,

One useful thing that comes to my mind is coupling your ideas and Troy's advises (both very nice) with something more abstract - try some of Discworld books penned by sir Terry Pratchett (RIP). I guess what may cross your mind - that's fantasy, so it's not something that can be very helpful for our pick-up cause. Even though that's right, his books are unique (after all, he's the one to be called "Modern Dickens"), because they are just satire and parody of our modern world in a different setting. His observations about the world around us are magnificent and that's something possible mostly due to using this setting - after all if you pick some characteristics of someone/a group of people and give it to fantasy creatures, like trolls, who will be offended? Nobody wants to think about himself as an ugly troll.

What can these books give you? From my experience: they deepen the ability to observe the world around us in the critical way, so you can construct your own observations which oftentimes are very funny in an abstract way. Each time I finished one of his books I was able to construct more sophisticated abstract jokes for some time - and then I would just take another novel to keep this skill in good shape. If you want to check it out, then read book descriptions on Goodreads - and if you find a couple of interesting ones, then PM me, I'll try to help you in choosing (there are 41 of them, so choosing one may be hard and not all of them are as hilarious as the others).

If you want to watch something, then what about Californication? Hank Moody's a good role model and he's often playful. You can also either read Game of thrones, or watch it (I've only read it) - if we discuss being witty, then it's hard to find someone who will beat Tyrion Lannister.
