Calls & Texts Reply to: I should tell U Im seeing some1 so I'm bad company

I'm texting this girl to go out.
She gave me her number in spite of a jealous guy friend cockblocker.
We were supposed to meet last week but then it didn't happen.

Now she replies and says:

My weekend was crazy etc etc.
I haven't made any plans this week but I should tell you I'm seeing someone now so I'm bad company


I was thinking some of these options as a reply:

1. "That's OK, so am I, what about meeting etc. etc. "

The funny ones:
2. "Oh, you were thinking about something deep here, I just wanted to meet for a wine and a good conversation . What about.. "
(I'm a bit afraid that this one might friend zone me. I might still avoid that once in person, but if she's friendzoning me before meeting... I'd rather not waste an evening and a good bottle of wine )

3. "That reassures me, it would actually be an alarm bell if a cute girl wasn't seeing anyone "


How would you reply to this?

Hey lucifer7,

Firstly I wouldn't say out right that it's "ok" but I defiantly wouldn't tell her it's a problem. By addressing it in a self-amusing way you are implying that this is normal, you do it...why shouldn't she (she now thinks - how many women are you seeing?!) and that you think its cute she felt she had to tell you. You do not tell her you are seeing others either, it is just implied. It's like when a girl asks you about how many lovers you have taken...most of them think they want to know...really they don't.

In my eyes this text is basically saying; I am busy, I am available if you want, I am in demand (giving herself an out if you decline).

So I would go with something like "I knew you were a bad influence How about we grab that (offer) on (Day), I will scoop you up at (time)"

You are showing her you are non-judgmental and now you can perfectly sit in lover category. You are still focusing on the main point; get her out and get her under you. I like the word "scoop", I use it whenever possible (thank you Chase lol).
