This is my first post to the forum, so I apologize if I blatantly miss anything. There's this girl in my English class (I'm in high school), I've been heavily flirting, mainly through eye contact because we sit on opposite sides of the room and we aren't allowed to change them. I have her number, I actually got it a while ago but the day I was going to ask her out, someone else did and so finally after a couple months of me more or less ignoring her, they broke up. So now I'm flirting again and saying stuff like "Oh that's really great that you two broke up " and she'd respond by smiling and giggling. Anyways, I texted her today asking her about a song about sex and love and how she liked it. She loved it and blah blah blah flirt flirt sex joke sex joke. Anyways, she's been calling herself a bro around me a lot. Like she's been emphasizing that she's a bro, I can't tell if this is sarcasm or if she's trying to friendzone me in a weird way. We touch a lot (the past 2 days is all that I've known about her breakup which happened a couple weeks ago), but I still can't tell if I'm going to be friendzoned or accepted or what. Every time I think it's going great, she mentions that she's a bro and it's really annoying. Plus, the only time we get to talk is about 3 minutes in between classes. I'm probably going to just go for it and not care about the rejection, but I would rather know. Any opinions are welcome!

Yeah and don't worry about things like the "bro" thing. I have had plenty of success with girls who constantly try to tell me they are just "one of the lads". I still don't even know why they do this, just ignore it and push forward anyway.
