I recently got Tinder Plus and have been playing around with my location settings a good bit just to see how much location would impact my matches, messages, quality of girls I get, and how I do. The site I used was Plenty of Fish for online dating and Tinder Plus for dating apps. I use well done photos and follow the advice given about online dating pictures down to a tee. In regards to looks, I would say I am an above average looking Punjabi guy.
Currently I am in San Francisco and as a brown guy here, I have done okay with Tinder Plus and Plenty of Fish except almost all of my matches and messages come from Mexican and Asian women. It is very rare for me to match with a white girl in this city and I thought that maybe it was the pics I was using but I decided to play around a bit with locations.
I went from San Francisco to Seattle, way better luck and my matches were of a higher quality. On Tinder I matched with a handful of cute white women, a very beautiful mixed race girl, some cute Indian girls, and it was good for me. Tried it in Portland and I was matching with some cute girls there too, matched with 3 cute blondes and one of them was a party girl that went to Oregon, we even texted back and forth. So I was having a higher success rate with Portland and Seattle than I was with San Fran but I decided to try some other cities.
Said fuck it and tried my luck in ultra conservative Utah (Salt Lake City), surprisingly I had as much success as I had in Seattle except I was matching with a lot more cute white girls. Matched with at least 10 different blondes, a couple were beautiful and a lot of them were cute, I'd put them in the solid 7 range. One of the hot ones wrote back and a couple of the cute ones wrote back.
POF was more or less the same except I was getting a decent amount of attention from blonde MILFs in Utah as well as Oregon, a lot of them seemed trashy but they were also very fuckable.
Right now I am sticking with the west but I might expand out to other regions. I am just now waking up to how fucking shitty it is to be a brown guy in Northern California, this place is a fucking nightmare and I finally have a plan of moving out soon, so excited about this! I was getting robbed in regards to the quality of women in this awful area and I am so happy that I am leaving this place soon and heading to a new city.
All of you guys should consider toying around with this option, tried Tinder Plus in Paris for the fun of it and I was getting matches with some damn beautiful girls. Traveling and importance of location seriously needs to be brought up, as well as how horrible San Francisco is as a city when it comes to dating and women.
