Went on my 3rd date of this week tonight, 3rd girl as well. Every date my skills have been increasingly better (the first one being a failed escalation). This one was quite different than the others.

This girl, B, I met at the bar only last week. We exchanged numbers, and I made a very good first impression. The plan was to get margaritas at this Mexican place I work, then I'd invite her in afterwards. After some flirty texting, and figuring out the date, she changed up on me last second. Before the date began, she wanted me to come over to help her finish a school paper. I made her chase to get me agree to this, but ultimately complied and went over. She had just been napping, was in bedroom clothes (not lingerie or anything just some comfortable clothes, netflix and chill esque). I immediately began using sexual humor and escalating physically, we were both sitting in her bed from the get go. There was definite sexual tension for about a minute, until she pulled out her paper.

The paper was literally an analysis of a poem 'They Flee From Me' or something, shakespeare era, about what I believe to be a seducer who loved the chase, being the seduced. After being seduced, falling in love and feeling the need to cut ties with the seductress or else fall deeply in love (B didn't come off as too bright, and had no idea what the poem was about - this was my analysis). I explained the poem to her, all while continuing to attempt escalation. I remember finishing with "So what does that make you, the seducer or the seduced?" with a mischievous smile, and alluded to her trying to seduce me. *This may have been an error --> indirectly talking about game*

She got.. pissed. I maintained my outward image, but was actually rather turned off at her reaction, and her verbal threat to kick me out. I just maintained the smile, ending with an "Whatever you say...", and direction turned back to the poem. At this point I figured I can ask her for a study break, escalate, and succeed in fucking her. After she became continually distracted by twitter and texts on her phone, I playfully removed it from her hands with a "no, no, no", and moved it slightly out of arms reach on her bed. She said it was rude of me to do that and snatched it back. So, I asked if she really wanted to focus on the paper. She did, so I told her I found that hard to believe (still attempting - and seemingly failing - to be playful).

Next, I asked if she wanted to take a break, and crack it out later. Again she said no, and that I wasn't helping like she'd asked me to when coming over. I persisted that I had already given her my analysis, it was up to her to finish it - for now let's just enjoy each other's company. Nope, she wanted to write the paper- she skipped class and wanted to email it to her teach at midnight. So, I tried, one last time, to go with are original plan to get margaritas, that in my experience turning it in at 2 am or 12 am hadn't mattered after skipping class, but... no.

Long story short, I got the fuck out of there about 5 minutes later. She was sad to see me go, and I remained outwardly warm to her despite being annoyed with the whole situation. It ended with a hug and me exiting, "Have fun... (;". In a way, I felt kinda pretentious for how I viewed and treated the situation, but the majority of me just said "fuck this bitch, k-camp her, she isn't worth your time".

Could I have escalated, done something different, to get the focus back to the real task at hand? Should I have made an earlier attempt at convincing her to write the paper later, and come have fun with me? What you guys think?
