This is kind of a sensitive issue for me, because it involves someone close to me. I don't really have anyone to discuss this with, and it's a very trying situation and I'd just like to know what steps can be taken to help this person.
A friend of mine has committed an act of sexual assault/ molestation. Basically, he is working in a type of chiropractic/ massage field, and he is his own "boss". But he took things a bit too far and he made unwanted advances on a female client of his. I don't know the details or extent, but a little while ago, the client came forward with the police and must have filed a complaint or pressed charges. I'm not sure exactly. But it looks like it could be a misdemeanor/ criminal charges.
My question is, how would he proceed from this point? What can he do? What should he do?
I am uncomfortable and distraught talking about this, but I don't really have anyone I feel comfortable talking to about this, at least the people that I know, especially since it involves someone that I know personally.
