A friend has set me up with a girl he knows. We have our first date, coffee, set for Friday. She looks great from her social media pics, and he swears she's amazing on every level and I have no reason not to trust him. She is a friend and cousin of his wife.
So now, I believe in the general principle of "move fast, get sexual quickly" school of seduction we have in these parts, but I'm thinking, since this girl has been introduced to me through mutual friends, she will be extra sensitive to her reputation. Like, I think the chances of a first date lay are zero, as she'd be worried that I would call my friend the next day and brag how I banged her.
Now, I really don't care about same day lays or whatever, what worries me is the relationship starting with that Disney "aren't we cute, getting introdcued by our friends" vibe. I mean, a bit of that is fine, but I want to move into a more sexual frame in the begging, and then build any long term thing that might come out of this on that foundation.
I hope I explained this well, my question is do you have any tips? On the one hand, she will very likely be more hands-off then if we've met through cold approach or something like that, and I'll need to respect that. Up to a point. But I also need to move us into a sexual, I'm a lover not a provider (yet, possibly later, but not yet) vibe, and I'm thinking about how to do it elegantly.
