First of all, I'd just like to introduce myself. I am a junior in college and have recently been exploring GC articles as well as browsing the boards for about the past 3 months. I am a guy who was in a long term relationship previoiusly and am newish to the single life (6 months). I have only gotten laid 3 times since ive become single but have had countless makeouts/other hookups as well. The reason i am here is to learn to close better which I can tell from some self-evaluation and reading on here is where my game definitely struggles the most.
The report that I actually want to focus on right now is one girl who I guess you could say i've casually been working on for a few weeks now. I met her at a day party that my fraternity was having 3 weekends ago and had a really good first interaction with her, lets just call her "Sherry". Sherry is a girl who i actually had heard of (due to her popularity around campus) but had never met and is one of those girls who all of the guys knew of but i had never heard of any of them actually getting with her (she's honestly that crazy hot that i understand why a lot of guys are probably afraid to even talk to her, let alone attempt to sleep with her).
Anyways, the first interaction didn't go further than a 10 or 20 minute conversation that she seemed really invested in and then I was a pussy and never tried to move her/escalate (probably scared off by her hotness. After further reading on the boards and articles ive been trying to not put a girl on a pedestal just because she is a 10).
The following week i was at the campus gym and i was leaving i noticed Sherry happened to be there. I looked over at her and then kept walking but then kind of did a double take to check that it was in fact her. When i looked over the second time she was staring at me across the gym and gave me the sexiest little smile and wave i had ever seen. I smiled and waved back and i realize now i should've gone over and talked to her but at the time it was so far on the other side of the gym and i was walking out the door that i thought it would be awkward if i dropped everything to go over and probably not have anything to say other than hello.
Next weekend coming up and my frat is having a date party. Immediately i thought about Sherry. I didn't have her number but we had recently become acquainted on social media (facebook, instagram). I'm a big fan of the DM and since i had no other means of communication i decided to go for it. Unfortunate enough i think i picked the wrong platform because i facebook DM'd her (at the time though facebook was better but have recently realized Instagram has a lot more success with response time). FB has read reciepts for DM's i noticed from a past messaging convo and this girl never opened or read my DM so i ended up taking a different girl to this Friday date party.
Saturday comes around and we have a normal house party and I was surprised to see Sherry at the party. This was only surprising because she wasn't a frequent party attender and normally attended one of the other fraternities on campus (or so i deduced from looking at her social media). I didn't want to be a bitch or try and play it off like i didn't get ignored by DM'ing her, so I decide to call her out on it just to see how she would react and to feel out what her thoughts are toward me.
So i walk up to her and the conversation goes a little something like this:
ME: "Hey Sherry come here, i've got a bone to pick with you"
SHERRY: "Hey! And what do you mean? what have i done??"
ME: "Oh, i think you know. I DM'd you the other day asking you to our date party and you completely ignored it, what's up with that?"
SHERRY: "What do you mean you DM'd me?? No you didn't!"
ME: "I promise i did, check your Facebook."
SHERRY: "Well jeez why did you DM me on facebook?? I only get on that thing every few weeks! I do wish i would've seen it though i saw all the pictures from the party and was really upset i didn't get invited. It seems like you all (my fraternity) doesn't like me all that much"
ME: *showing her the DM* "Here it is. See, you could've been my date all along but noooo you don't check your facebook so i had to take a ditsy little freshman"
The conversation goes on a little longer with me teasing her for "rejecting" me and then her constantly apologizing/swearing she really wanted to go and wishes she would've seen the message. I decide that tonight was the night that i make a move on her and see if i can escalate the relationship as this is now the 3rd encounter with her and they all seem pretty positive. UNFORTUNATELY, her friend got super drunk early on in the night and she had to go home and take care of her. Being in the semi-drunk stupor that i was i never got her fucking number. Idiot.
This happened the weekend before this past (so about a week and a half ago). I did not see Sherry out at all this past weekend and didn't have a way to contact her, plus I had a few other girls that i've been texting that i wanted to make moves on so it all worked out (madeout w/2 girls this past weekend but couldn't close on either).
This upcoming weekend we have another date party. I had 2 options in my mind (one of which is a tall skinny blonde who has slept with one guy in my frat but i really don't like this dude and she has made it obvious to me that he is sexually interested, and the other option is Sherry).
I decide to go with the first option as this guy has particularly been pissing me off recently and I know he still has a crush on the tall blonde who i've hooked up with a little at parties but never made the right logistical moves to finish her. Just to preface, the date party is a handcuffs and handles type party where you and your date are tied together untill you finish whatever alcohol you brought (great for hookups). So i send out the initial text and the conversation goes like this:
ME: "Hey _____, because there's nothing I want more than to tie your ass up on the weekends, you want to be my date for the handcuffs and handles party this friday?"
(sidenote: this girl lives with one of my good girl-friends and they both tell me how sexy i am all the time and we make a lottttt of sexual references to each other all the time, so that's why i am this direct)
HER: "Of course I will

So I decide this was the best play and get excited for the weekend. However, about 2 hours later she texts me the following:
HER: "I'm so sorry but i actually have an online test for one of my most important classes on Saturday morning and really really should stay in Friday to prepare for it"
At this point i was a little salty thinking that she was just flaking, so i attempt to salvage the date.
ME: "Just study throughout the week so you can still go out! Plus, this is your one shot at bondage with me without having to awkwardly ask for it"
HER: "Lmao i appreciate that, but i have a ton of schoolwork this week and really think that staying in is the best idea. I promise i'll awkwardly ask for it some time in the near future though"
Okay, so i decide even though i didn't get the date with her i still set myself up pretty good for the next time i see her out. So now i end up not having a date and decide to resort back to Sherry. Seeing as i didn't have Sherry's number and social media DM's clearly didn't work last time, I ask a girl i know from high school (who happens to be Sherry's little in their sorority) for Sherry's number, telling her i'm gonna take her to the handcuffing party. She responds with Sherry's number along with: "Oh, I'm going to that too! I'm sure she'd love to go!"
So now with Sherry's number in hand, I startup the conversation:
ME: "Hey Sherry, it's ______. I went out of my way to get your number rather than just facebook DM you this time so you're gonna have to be my date this friday for handcuffs and handles, kapeesh?"

SHERRY: "But shit, very demanding. I too am demanding tho.....I would love to go but can only go if Molly goes...."
(Molly is another fake name but it is her big in her sorority)
ME: "Alright, well what is holding Molly back from going?"
SHERRY: "Bob ditched her...."
SO basically this girl had a date to this party and then got flaked on.
ME: "Oh so she just needs a new date?"
SHERRY: "Hahah yes!!"
ME: "Well that's not a problem, it should be easy enough for me to find her one"
SHERRY: "Well duh, she's a hot piece of ass"
ME: "Lol of course she is, but okay let me ask around and i'll let you know in the morning what we're working with"
SHERRY: "Haha okay sounds great"
And this is where I sit right now. I am currently working on getting her friend a date (really shouldn't be a problem, and if not i'll be able to suggest that she comes and handcuffs herself to another girl because loads of girls do that who dont get asked by a guy).
My questions for you guys today are:
1) How have I done so far in your opinion? I want some real criticism so don't be shy.
2) What mindset should i have when approaching the party with her? How do i not let the fact that she is a perfect 10 effect my game?
3) Any suggestions on what i should do/say throughout the night to try and convey a sexual vibe? I've noticed that sometimes with girls like this i try and play it too safe and go for the "good guy that she likes" role when i know this is not at all going to be the most effective to avoid being put in that "friend" category.
4) What are good excuses to isolate her into my room during the party? I feel like if i take her to my room and then go back to the party she will be a lot more accepting to going back to my room after the party.
5) What are some good finishing moves in general for frat parties? Maybe i just act like a little bitch when it comes to closing but i never know how to ask a girl to come back to my house/room.
