I met this girl (Cozy) on the way home. Exchanging number, setting up a coffee date.
Cozy showed up 45 min early. I quickly donned the clothes and drove to the coffee shop.
On the way, Cozy texted me that her friend, Glasses, also came.
I came in, and Glasses was much hotter than Cozy. Why, I wondered? In hindsight, there was a few reasons:
a) Cozy brought her friend because I was a stranger, thus she wanted to feel safe
b) Cozy wanted to look good by association
c) Cozy wanted to introduce Glasses to me.
When I was chatting with Cozy, Glasses’ leg became restless. Probably she wanted attention, thus I split attention even.
Cozy told stories, I told half stories half facts, but Glasses mostly said facts. I advised Glasses a bit about career. Daddy issues I thought.
I assumed reason (a) and thus I went by the Information date.
I did a simple compliance request but Cozy did not comply. The conversation with Cozy was smooth. Glasses was stiff. In hindsight the possibility of (c) was also there.
Cozy occasionally didn’t understand what I was saying. Glasses clarified for me. If we went by reason (a) Glasses approved me and helped me with her friend. If we went by reason (c) then Glasses like me.
Going by my feelings I felt warmer towards Glasses. Hector once said the feelings were usually mutual. .
Lasting 45 minutes, getting to know both of them, sharing stories, and I’m going to schedule a second date. If Cozy brought Glasses again that would be (c).
