She want to focus on her career

Hello to everyone,
Dated one tonight, approached her in a supermarket. Everything went well, flirting, kissing (as usual, she was a bit evasive the first few times) the she started with the relationships questions, why no girlfriend, what was the longest relationship etc. I put some funny answers to evade the rest of these questions and put the conversation in a different direction.

The thing that I did not do right is the age thing. She is 27 and I am 40, and for some reason I did not said my age with an year plus of what she guessed/thought. During the date she kept telling that she is a workaholic, and that she wants to focus on her career. I think she had the impression that based on my age I want to marry her or something. At the end of the date I asked I if should still call her (a bit of a mistake here, realized after) and off course she said I am sorry, I hope you don't get upset...bla bla bla

So my question will be, should I send he another message let's say in a day or two? This will be actually chasing.

Personally I don’t like kissing on dates until I’m alone with them. Exception is if I kiss her, end it before her keep her guessing/wanting more

Age gaps can be a challenge but this technique helps. Substantial amount of girls like older if your fundementals are in order.

Most important thing is a no-big deal frame. You’ll still lose some but get those who can be swayed.

I used to adjust my age but nowadays I just say it and they can take it or leave it

Think your instincts were right here. You could of indirectly/ subtly addressed this by speaking about “how you feel like you’ve got the whole world ahead of you but just maturer and with more means so you’re in no rush to get tied into something & just sees where it goes”

At the end of the date I asked I if should still call her

Yeah this is where you killed it I’m afraid

Props on the DG date though, I’m sure there’ll be plenty more
