There's this girl that I had a couple week long relationship with. We were inseparable for these two-three weeks at the end of August. Then, we both went back to school and lost contact. I found out a few weeks later she got back together with her ex boyfriend, but in the same message she asked me to go out to dinner with her. We did, and acted as normal that night. A few more weeks of limited communication passed after that. Then, I ran into her in the City. She said she missed me and wanted to hang out, and she confirmed she's still with her ex boyfriend. I reluctantly agreed, and we spent the entire day together getting lunch, going shopping, (Even to places such as Victoria's Secret, where she had me help her pick out stuff and sprayed me with her favorite perfume that I told her I loved back in August.) That night she kissed me and said thanks for a "great day in a long time." I let her go, which I'm thinking was my biggest mistake. We talked after that and told her I had a great time and how that day reminded me of what we had in August. She agreed but reminded me of her boyfriend. We didn't talk from that point in late October until earlier this December when she mentioned she was visiting an old friend. Since she left for that trip, we've been constantly in touch. She said she's looking forward to coming home and getting together to get coffee. I'm not sure what to do? I feel like either she's drooling over me, or I'm the pseudo-boyfriend deep in the friend zone for when her "real" boyfriend is busy or boring. Any help would be appreciated.
